We don’t have to spend this time wondering whether the Preacher TV show on AMC is cancelled or renewed for season five. The series’ fourth season is also its final one. We’re still tracking the ratings though because they’ll provide context for other AMC programs, so stay tuned.
A comedic supernatural AMC drama from Sam Catlin, Evan Goldberg, and Seth Rogen, Preacher stars Dominic Cooper, Ruth Negga, Joseph Gilgun, Ian Colletti Graham McTavish, Pip Torrens, Julie Ann Emery, Tyson Ritter, and Mark Harelik. The story centers on West Texas preacher Jesse Custer (Cooper), his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip (Negga), and Irish vampire Cassidy (Gilgun) on their road trip to find God. Along the way, they’re drawn into a battle spanning Heaven, Hell and all points in between.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s chances of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

What do you think? Is the Preacher TV series ending at the right time? If it were up to you, would this AMC TV show be cancelled or renewed for a fifth season?
your rating system is BS. Most people do not watch on the regular channel. They stream it from other sources later on. So you’re making decisions based on bad data points. Preacher is one of the best shows on TV…and you’re killing it. The finale was terrible for obvious reasons. You forced them to come up with a trash ending.
