What’s This TV Show About?
An ION comedy-drama based on the G.B Joyce novel, The Code, Private Eyes stars Jason Priestly, Cindy Sampson, Ennis Esmer, Barry Flatman, Jordyn Negri, and Clé Bennett. Bree Williamson, Mark Ghanimé, and Samantha Wan recur in the second season. The series centers on former professional hockey player Matt Shade (Priestly), who first teams up with formidable P.I. Angie Everett (Sampson), to solve the mystery of why a top hockey prospect dropped on the ice. Although they’re both fierce competitors who have different outlooks on life, Angie and Matt soon find that together, they form an unbeatable partnership.
As of November 24, 2024, Private Eyes has not been cancelled or renewed for a third season on ION but it has been renewed in Canada. Stay tuned for further updates.

As with the first season of Private Eyes on ION, American viewers tune into the sophomore installment, knowing it has already been renewed for a third season on Global Television, in Canada. This show better not be cancelled. Networks cancell good shows too soon and keep poorly written ones airing. There are so many networks, too many shows, there will never be as many people watching any one particular show like it was years ago. I didn’t even know this show existed until half way through the 2nd season. I never have time to watch things live, everything on DVR.
I’ve been waiting a very long time for this show to return for season 3!!! What is the hold up. With all the terrible shows on I can’t wait to see this good one!!

Private Eyes season 3 has already aired on Global TV in Canada. Unfortunately, ION has purchased the U.S. rights and has, till now, chosen not to air the new season. If ION does not want to air them, why don’t they release the rights to another network so that we are not being arbitrarily punished by ION.

Please DO NOT cancel the AMAZING tv Show on ION, Private Eyes. My ENTIRE Family of 5, (all of us are from 29yrs old to 60yrs old), and that should say A LOT right there…that Private Eyes has a viewing of ALL ages. The tv Show Private Eyes IS such an amazing comedy/drama and we ALL want more seasons. Not just one more, but several more seasons. PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL THE SHOW. PLEASE RENEW IT and FAST. I agree, please bring back Private Eyes. I love this show and have been very depressed since I haven’t been able to find it on ION TV. If it’s been renewed in Canada which I only live a 1/2 hr away from, I and thousands of others and more strongly hope you bring it back for seasons 3 & 4 and more. I miss this show very much!
