Drew and Jonathan Scott are not leaving HGTV anytime soon. The network has just ordered new seasons of both Property Brothers: Forever Home and Brother vs. Brother. This means viewers will see the pair on the network through 2022.
HGTV revealed more about the order in a press release. Check that out below.
“HGTV has extended its multi-year talent deal with the immensely popular twin brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott through 2022. Best known from the Emmy(R)-nominated series Property Brothers, the HGTV stars also received pick-up orders for Property Brothers: Forever Home and a new season of the fan favorite competition series Brother vs. Brother. As executive producers at Scott Brothers Entertainment, the duo’s production company, the brothers also will develop exclusive home-related series and digital content in partnership with the network’s programming and creative teams.
‘Drew and Jonathan are multi-talented HGTV stars and producers who deliver innovative and impactful content across all our platforms – linear and digital,’ said Jane Latman, president, HGTV. ‘They are great collaborators, full of fun ideas and our audience and advertisers love them. It’s why we’ve ordered 40 more episodes of Property Brothers: Forever Home and six new episodes of Brother vs. Brother and why we have several new projects in development with them.’
‘HGTV is a great partner that’s very open to exploring new content development approaches and has a collaborative, dynamic creative process,’ said Drew. ‘Our relationship with HGTV is special because of our many successes together, and we want to keep that going for a long time to come,’ continued Jonathan.
The brothers, who have a huge fan base on social media and are The New York Times best-selling authors with a new lifestyle magazine, Reveal, launching in January, are known for a winning combination of expertise, sibling rivalry and humor. Together, they have blended their design and building skills to help hundreds of families and millions of viewers realize their property and home renovation dreams. With their broad experience and complementary know-how, this dynamic, design-savvy duo can solve any home-related challenge.”
Premiere dates for the return of both shows was not revealed.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Drew and Jonathan Scott? Will you continue to watch Property Brothers: Forever Home and Brother vs. Brother through 2022?
Why do we have to pay to watch a show we live in rv so nocable and at our age can’t pay satelite this wrong
My husband and I want to renovate our home. We have been married for 40 years this November, and we’ve been living in the same house for 26 years. We desperately need help renovating our home. Our budget will be 175,000- 200,00. Please consider us! I love the show, and absolutely Love Drew and Johnathan ‘s talent and ideas. Can you please let me know something soon? Thank you! Sincerely,
Mrs. Michelle Lynch
My name is Don W. Smith, I would like to know how I can make contact with Property Brothers there are some questions that I need to ask. They are the only two individuals that can answer them for me.
I Am Going To Stop Watching Property Brothers, Along With!!! Take A Vote!! Forever Home, Actually Stinks!! The Other Shows Are Great. The a Show On You Have As New!! This Is A Repeat, And It Made My DVR Film It!! FOREVER HOME NEEDS TO GO, TAKE A VOTE!! YOU ARE LOOSING YOUR VIEWERS. Don’t You Care?
I NEVER miss an episode of “Buying and Selling”. It’s one of the most helpful shows on, and I’m so happy to hear it is going to continue.
I LOVE HGTV. Some of my favorites are “Restored by the Fords”, “Love it or List it”, “Property Brothers”, “Boise Boys”, “House Hunters and House Hunters Renovation”, “Christina on the Coast”, the series with Ms. Grace Mitchell and her crew is always entertaining and I’m sure that Tarek ElMousa’s new show coming in March will be entertaining as well. There are so many good and entertaining shows on HGTV that it’s no wonder that I love most all of them.
Just sad HGTV has had Alot of great shows in the last six months yet showing Only two episodes. Then what nothing but these two brothers who already have way to many shows. Same old stuff nothing new boys! HGTV will find soon their viewers to will be gone. There are other channels that have come up with great home shows.
Joey C. – I disagree with you concerning Property Brothers. Everyone loves Drew and Johnathin regardless of what the name of the show is. It is highly unlikely that HGTV will lose viewers! Practically the ‘only’ show that I don’t watch is all the reruns of all the old shows of “Fixer Upper” with Chip and Joanna. I loved it when it was originally on but I’ve seen the re-runs at least two or three times already.
I’m happy for the Property Brothers but does anyone know if Desert Flippers has been cancelled? I have not seen an announcement one way or the other. I would think the network would at least be kind enough to let fans know one way or the other.
No Brian, I haven’t heard if Desert Flippers has been renewed or not, but I hope it has. Lots of us HGTV watchers love that show.
