What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Showtime cable channel, Ray Donovan stars Liev Schreiber, Alan Alda, Zach Grenier, Jon Voight, Dash Mihok, Eddie Marsan, Pooch Hall, Kerris Dorsey, and Graham Rogers. The series centers on professional fixer Ray Donovan (Schreiber), who’s working to be the man his family needs him to be. While he makes progress with Dr. Amiot (Alda), there are dangers from the past that require the Ray Donovan of old. Between NYC mayor Ed Feratti (Grenier), an unrelenting NYPD officer hunting for the truth and clients old and new, Ray struggles to find the balance between fixing for clients and fixing himself. And when Feratti’s corruption brings a piece of Mickey’s past (Voight) back to New York, Ray is forced to seek answers to long-buried questions.

Please continue to the 8th Season. This is one of the best series Showtime has. I’ve watched every season and every season gets more interesting and exciting!! Love love love this show. My husband and I watch together every Sunday. Schrieber and the rest of the cast are amazing. Just keeps getting better and better. Keep up the great work guys(and gals).
Ray Donovan is awesome, although it’s steered away from it’s original roots. I miss the California days and hope they make it back with good action. I can see the action starting to pick back up again though and I like that they’re figuring out the past with his sister and Sullivans. Keep it going, promote it more and they will see better ratings. It’s very low key, but aside from Power there’s not another show like it right now, leverage that!
Time to call it a day after season 7. Showtime shows tend to start strong with shows for the first couple of seasons and then loose originality after season 5 or so. Californication, Dexter Weeds Homeland and such are prime examples. HBO still do it best. Better to end it season 5/6 than ruin the legacy of a show

Love this show keep it going
I love this show. I have been binge-watching it and find it hard to not watch more shows in one sitting, but I am using some discipline because I want my viewing to last longer, if that makes sense. Mr. Schreiber is polarizing and I can hardly wait for his character to fill up the next scene. And that, my friends, is real charisma when an actor can pull a viewer in like that. Every performer in this series is a television gem.

Absolutely love Ray Donovan! Great actors and the writing is superb. The show still has many more years worth of storytelling to be had. It will indeed be a sad day when this show comes to an end.

I am right there with you! I remember watching the series premiere right after the series finale of Dexter finished. I was sad when Dexter finished (even with the lackluster final season), and I had my reservations about another show trying to fill its slot, but I love this show more than I even loved Dexter! Please, please, please keep making more seasons!!

A great show twists and turns in this family keep us waiting for what will happen next to the brothers. Excellent cast and writing is not boring shows are over each week so fast could keep watching for more than the episode lasts. Hope this one continues love the casting its exceptional all around.
