Is Sanjay and Craig over? Recently, voice star Chris Hardwick tweeted that the Nickelodeon series was done.
Created by Jim Dirschberger, Andreas Trolf, and Jay Howell, the animated comedy follows 12-year-old boy Sanjay Patel (Maulik Pancholy) and his pet snake, Craig Slithers (Chris Hardwick). The voice cast also includes Kunal Nayyar, Grey Griffin, and Matt Jones). The series is currently in the middle of its third season.
Earlier this month, when asked about potential voice guests on future episodes, Hardwick tweeted that the series has already finished production on its last episodes:
I would but the series is done! We recorded our last pick ups 2 weeks ago! 🙁

Nickelodeon has yet to confirm the show’s cancellation.

Sanjay and Craig is the best cartoon EVER!!!!! Cancelling it? WHY?!!!! My son and I loooove the humor, creativity and realness of this cartoon. Did I mention that it is beyond hilarious? Please oh please rethink this. These other new teen shows and cartoons are garbage!!!!! Long live Sanjay and Craig!!!!!!

I guess they needed room for yet another tween comedy , sigh, a toon that was not filled with bullying on a constant like so many almost all others God forbid complaining about fart jojes but almost all others have bullying fart jokes as their complaint come on get a sence of humor back .why is it anything thats actually worth watching and is different gets booted. Sanjay and Craig is our favorite show period. The need to bring it back with Casper scare school. These shows are so refreshing. Without theses shows there’s no point in watching tv at all I can cancel my subscription to Hulu.

Nick only had two good toons sponge bob and sanjay and craig the rest of the toons are made for 3year olds.sad to see it go.
