Even though, during the last couple of seasons, the Scorpion TV show has dropped off significantly in the ratings, CBS has opted not to cancel it. The fourth season — which kicks off with a musical episode — will provide this action drama with a decent sized syndication package. Could it spell the end? Will Scorpion cancelled or renewed for season five? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
Inspired by the life of a real computer expert, Scorpion stars Elyes Gabel, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kay Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham, Robert Patrick, Riley B. Smith, Andy Buckley, Jamie McShane, Joshua Leonard, Dan Dratch, and Scott Porter.
On the CBS series, Walter O’Brien (Gabel) and his team of brilliant misfits are the country’s last line of defense against lurking high-tech threats. As Team Scorpion, these members of Homeland Security’s think tank solve the nation’s crises, even as they help one other on their quest to fit in. At the start of season four, they find themselves working with their nemesis, Mark Collins (Leonard), to prevent the extinction of the human race. Meanwhile, Walter and Paige (McPhee) feel awkward as they try to navigate their new relationship.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: The third season of Scorpion averaged a 1.20 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 7.23 million total viewers (live + same day ratings).
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.

Renew!
Keep it running Way better then 90% of all other series Out there
RENEW SCORPION PLEASE. The reviews are probably dropping because its shown too late for some persons.
I LOVE scorpion please don’t cancel it. The reason views are dropping is probably because its showed too late for some or just because they can’t understand what they are saying lol.
Please leave this series on the air. It’s fun and educational and old people like me enjoy all the characters.
Keep this show on. Do not cancel it. Moving it from Monday nite at 9 was a big mistake. Moving it to 10 big mistake. So give it another chance an put it back on at 9PM. Great family show needs to stay on another year!
Scorpion is the only good thing left on the TV (with Modern Family and Black-Ish) please renew it.
Scorpion is amazing i watched it since it started please don’t stop it there it would be ashame
I super love scorpion! Please don’t cancel it
Scorpion is a good show but needs one change and thatas bringing humor in the show, season 1 had no humor and was outstandingly great then came humor and made the show only good
The season four is now slowly starts in Europe. In some countries isn’t finnished season three yet. So think also about Europian televiewers. We don’t want cancel. The season five must go on. Thanks
I LOVE the cast and their interactions. It is a great story concept. However the show needs new writers to keep my interest as the plots are too weird for me. Scorpion the musical was about as bad as you can get. The cast deserves better plots and writers. Lets get back to Season 1 type writing and scripts.
