Even though, during the last couple of seasons, the Scorpion TV show has dropped off significantly in the ratings, CBS has opted not to cancel it. The fourth season — which kicks off with a musical episode — will provide this action drama with a decent sized syndication package. Could it spell the end? Will Scorpion cancelled or renewed for season five? Stay tuned. *Status update below.
Inspired by the life of a real computer expert, Scorpion stars Elyes Gabel, Katharine McPhee, Eddie Kay Thomas, Jadyn Wong, Ari Stidham, Robert Patrick, Riley B. Smith, Andy Buckley, Jamie McShane, Joshua Leonard, Dan Dratch, and Scott Porter.
On the CBS series, Walter O’Brien (Gabel) and his team of brilliant misfits are the country’s last line of defense against lurking high-tech threats. As Team Scorpion, these members of Homeland Security’s think tank solve the nation’s crises, even as they help one other on their quest to fit in. At the start of season four, they find themselves working with their nemesis, Mark Collins (Leonard), to prevent the extinction of the human race. Meanwhile, Walter and Paige (McPhee) feel awkward as they try to navigate their new relationship.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly in the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: The third season of Scorpion averaged a 1.20 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 7.23 million total viewers (live + same day ratings).
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.

I have watched this show since the very first episode. I love it and need to find out what happens next! Fingers crossed for a season 5. I stay up at all hours to watch it on my DVR after the kids and my husband go to bed.
Please keep Scorpion on air. In fact you should do more on cast relationships.. as for story byline the realism of the episodes could be more believable.
Please keep this show – it is one of the very very few that I and my husband can enjoy
MUST RENEW (please)
I love the show please have another season. let the team make up.
We have really enjoyed this series. Please renew for season 5

From wacthing the very first episode I fell in love with scorpion! Have seen it 3 times and I never get bored!! Love the characters and their jokes, comments and chemestry!
Looking forward too season 5 and Maybe some more romance between Walter and Paige!:)

The show struggles with the overly righteous Paige, who struggles with whether Walter is good enough for her. It looks like she needs him to beg to be near her. This on and off again relationship feels wrong and a distraction. You’re left hoping Paige will find humility. Some episodes are a good watch, but the show is doomed if you don’t fix the perpetual prom queen Paige.
Please don’t cancel this series. I really understand the struggles that these characters go through. I just wish I had a Paige to help out.
Scorpion definitely deserves a Season 5! It’s a great series & it’d receive SIGNIFICANTLY better viewership if CBS ran it at either 8:00 (ET) or 9:00 (ET) – not 10:00 (ET). It’s one of the, true, family-friendly dramas on TV, & those that seek to watch w/ their families are often forced to watch it the following day(s) (ie, the, often, unreported ratings figure) rather than same-day viewership. Hopefully CBS doesn’t cancel Scorpion; it’s a very well-written & -acted drama, & such hour-long shows are becoming harder & harder to find, even on CBS, unless their respective titles include the… Read more »
Love scorpion don’t cancel.
Great show wife and I both enjoy.
Totally unrealistic but enjoyable. Loved all the characters. Tough to find many shows where all cast members contribute. Would hate to see series cancelled with that crap of a last show as its legacy. Writers should be ashamed to have written such BS. If it is the end…my thanks to the cast & crew for 4 fun years. GLTA!
Hey Moderator…Why do you have to scroll past all the old postings to get to the current postings?
