What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the Spike cable channel, The Shannara Chronicles stars Austin Butler, Ivana Baquero, Manu Bennett, Aaron Jakubenko, Marcus Vanco, Vanessa Morgan, Malese Jow, Gentry White, Caroline Chikezie, and Desmond Chiam. When season two kicks off, chaos has overtaken the Four Lands. With the population afraid of the return of magic, a body called The Crimson does not hesitate to intimidate anyone as it hunts down magic users. Meanwhile, in the wake of his losses, Wil (Butler) forsakes his destiny to become a healer. However, after the mysterious Mareth (Jow) saves him, he returns to the struggle.
Season Two Ratings

Telly’s Take
Based on the ratings, things already didn’t look good and then they started airing two episodes a night which smelled like a burnoff. The Viacom execs have been shuffling programs on their channels (including BET, CMT, TV Land, VH1, and MTV) so they may be okay with this big dip in the ratings as they try to establish the new Paramount Network. I’ll keep a hungry eye out and will update this page with breaking developments (and, hopefully, my supper plans). My husband and I watched both seasons on Netflix and loved it..we are definitely hoping for more..
Really hope the show is back another season. I think it needs to be advertised more. Found it on Netflix and decided to watch it! It was great!
I just started reading and watching the serious on Netflix as well. I just finished the season 2 and now I wish they would come out with a season 3!! Ughhh I wanna know about Will and what happens!! Why must all good things die!!
VERY much hoping for season 3, & more. Love the books by Terry Brooks, and have enjoyed watching them come to life on the small screen (via Netflix).

I absolutely love this show! I hope that it doesn’t end on a cliff hanger if there won’t be anymore seasons. I don’t think enough people know that it has moved from mtv to spike though. Hoping for season 3!! This show would be an amazing pick up for Netflix!
I really hope someone picks it up I have loved this show sense to the beginning. I didn’t watch any of the second season sense I didn’t know who had it. I just got done watching it on Netflixs this is a great show and how it ended is such a place we’re it’s going to drive alot of people mad.
As usual every show i like gets cancelled. Oh well still have the books.
Bring it back ratings bite because of shifting show times and channels
They have done it well, but after Amberle is the ellcrys they went so far off the books it’s NOTHING like it now. Better if you are not a fan of the books, a true fan of the actual characters.
My whole family (ages 54, 50, 24, & 15) enjoy the show. We really hope that it returns for season 3.

This show was horribly done It did not follow the books hardly at all I followed these 2 seasons out of curiosity I was disappointed the sword of shannara was the 1st fantasy book I ever read Terry Brooks try to make this like the Game of Thrones. I am not surprised that it was canceled. The books are fantastic these 2 seasons Were very bad
Please bring it back for season 3! great great show and we love it.
I LOVE this show I don’t want it to end it leaves you on such a cliff hanger. I love shows like this and this one is by far one of my favorites.
