What’s This TV Show About?
An ABC comedy, Splitting Up Together stars Jenna Fischer, Oliver Hudson, Bobby Lee, Diane Farr, Lindsay Price, Olivia Keville, Van Crosby, Sander Thomas, and Kelsey Asbille. The family sitcom centers on a married couple, Lena (Fischer) and Martin (Hudson), who have lost that lovin’ feeling. Having arrived at the conclusion that everyone would be happier if they divorced, Lena and Martin decide to split, but to minimize the impact on their three kids, they’re “bird nesting.” The parent who is on-duty in a given week lives in the house, with the children, while the other decamps to the garage. Once they’re apart, they begin to see their own failures and the other’s contributions. Splitting up together, like this, just might reignite their love.

What do you think? Are you glad that the Splitting Up Together TV show has been renewed for season two? How would you feel if ABC had cancelled this TV series, instead?
I loved that show!!! I thought it was so funny and well written. A true modern comedy. I’m so happy that is it back for season 2.
Aww! I love this show! It’s hilarious! I would love for a second season and more to come along!
I love this show. Its absolutely adorable and i am so glad it was renewed for a second season. I wish the episodes were an hour long in comparison to a half hour.
It will be cancelled. I called it as soon as I saw the promos for the show. No chemistry at all for these two and as actors I love them both. Jenna needs to do a drama. She is not funny at all. Even if you think back at her role in the office she was always the straight guy. I think Ellen must love her a lot to give her this chance but it was death for the show as soon as she was cast. Said this before and was told I was crazy. We’ll see…but it looks like… Read more »
Show is already picked up. It will be announced soon. They are sending all the actors to the Upfronts. Sorry not sorry!
I actually enjoy the show and find all the actors perfectly fit their respective roles. Hope that the show continues. It’s both funny but also has it’s moments that pull the heartstrings.
I don’t want it to be cancelled. But they didn’t air the April 24th episode according to imdb.com and haven’t said why yet. We about to see if they gonna finally drop the next episode or if it’s still been put on hold for whatever reason
They aired Roseanne reruns that night. A new episode airs tomorrow.
I think the show should be cancelled. It is not funny. It’s too bad because I like the actors.
Don’t quit your day job to become a TV exec. It’s been picked up.
I would like for it to not get cancelled. Ml
