The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

What the hell how do you cancel Stat and not Empire? I really feel like fans should be weighing in before canceling a show. So unfair to the people who do watch it. And if you going to end a show don’t end it with a huge ass cliffhanger. Like seriously please bring back this show. In right now

I personally feel as though the show star should continue!!! I’m a huge fan of this show and I think it’s crazy as well as dumb to end the show the way that it did, leavings all the fan out here to hang!!! Bring back STAR SEASON 4

Wow … Cancelled????! I am not a huge tv person, but I AM a huge Star watching person/fan! So friggin upset … All that happened in episode 18 … All the jaw drop scenes that made you think and say wtf just happend and what’s gna happen next???! I have looked forward to every new episode from the start. Not to mention the fact that Star is full of actual talent— songs that I would legit listen to on my own playlist. Ughhh another network NEEDS To take over from here at least … Please!
