The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

STAR HAS TO COME BACK!!! You can’t just leave us all up in the air about what has happened and what’s to come. Either fox needs to rethink this or another station needs to pick them up. I just hate when good shows go off air. I work night’s so i miss all my favorite shows during the week so i catch up on either hulu or Netflix so please bring star back!!

Please bring Star back! I love this show and listen to the soundtrack on Spotify like everyday. It’s so relatable and plus the last episode on season 3 was insane!
