The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

I love star and that cliffhanger made me think that there would be a season 4 why take it off the aire and not have a proper ending of the show that is so messed up. I hate the way they ended things. please bring it back. I love having something to watch on Wednesdays
I don’t use cable. So I watched Star on Hulu. I watched all 3 seasons in 2 weeks. I’m addicted and love it. I’m sad to see it canceled. Especially after a ending that had me crying like a baby. Please Netflix or Hulu pick it up and finish it. Half the world don’t use cable anymore it will get better ratings streaming. Please we need answers.

Whyyyyyy did you have to cancel Star??? This tv show has given me something to watch and I hate to see it end the way it did the season finale of season 3 left with so much drama and so many questions left unanswered that it would be crazy to not come out with a fourth season. Please please PLEASEEEE bring back Star we have to see what happened with the baby, after the wedding, what happened with Jackson, did angel survive, how about Cassie, what about Carlotta and rashads relationship??? Sooooo many questions to just cancel the show omg

This is some ******** because that’s a good show he’ll thaw a bomb ass show and it’s way better that empire and I was a fan of empire I will always love taraji and Terrence’s but let’s be clear star set the stage and it took over. That’s some realll BS canceling Star and not ending it at least with a season 4 finale. How you gonna just end it with a cliffhanger like that!? Another channel NEEDS to pick this show back up and have it run for at least 1 more season. Nobody even watches fox except for this show and maybe empire too but whyy would yall cancel a show that doesnt even have an ending!? BS!!
