The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

Yes I would watch season four. Does the ratings include those that watch it after the airing because not everyone can watch it the same day and time every week?
Sorry to hear that Star has been cancelled. I looked forwsrd to it every season. As a matter of favt I always thought the seasons were to short. Bring Star back please. I need to know what happened to Davis.
Bring Star Back for one more season…I’m sure season 3 had everyone on the edge of their couch! Try one more time for the viewers this show hands down has been much better than Empire and even before the Smullett drama!

Honestly it shouldnt matter about ratings it should matter about the amount of people who actually dedicated themselves to the show due to beong able to compare their lives to it and watch it play out. So many people can related this show on so mamy levels and its arrogant to just be concerned about rating amd not the honesty of the show for other people who have experienced what these people are experiencing in the show. Im very disappointed.

Why would any tv series leave you hanging without knowing how it would end without another season. Could at least have a season 4 to sum up what happened at the end of season 3 for the show STAR.

Star was the only reason I ever watched local channels. Put it back or NETFLIX come in and take over. I’d pay to watch it every week!
