The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

I really enjoyed this show I can’t believe you took it away I I really was looking forward to seeing the show after what had happened after the wedding now I can’t see it I guess this is such a shame and you guys Should be ashamed of yourself right in the middle of season at the ending of the season and the ending of a show many of people was looking forward into then what exactly happened or watching a show I would like to see star back on air .

I’m so sad that fox canceled star I really liked that show. I was waiting for season 4 to come on just to find out it was canceled. Should do season 4.
Well this sucks no more star but empire is still going! Wow! I’m very disappointed!
I’m so upset to find out there won’t be a season 4. I enjoyed watching this after empire and was looking forward to the new season. I hope the show goes to another channel to be aired.

Im am so disappointed that FOX CANCELED my Show Star. I truly LOVE that show with the all the singing and dancing. The music is the BEST!!!!!. I listen to it at work and in my car. I enjoyed it more than Empire. It’s really a GREAT SHOW. PLEASE MAKE A SEASON 4…. PLEASE
Oh wow I am shocked. They have so many shows with crap casting and a crap storyline, and this woman portrays A strong and independent woman who pushes herself to exceed expectations therefore inspiring women just like her. Women that have dreams and goals and not much to build from… I’m very disappointed in FOX for this decision.

WOW!!! I can’t believe they cancelled star.Theres only two three show on tv that I watched Empire,Star and The Walking Dead…now soon I’ll be left with nothing to watch…such a shame….

Im so upset to hear that Star season 4 is a no go. I was really looking forward to season 4. I loved the show, & always look forward to my Wednesday nights with Star & Empire. Fox is really messing up with this cancellation. I can think of a couple shows that fox should have canceled. #BringBackSeason4OfStar
