The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

That’s crazy!! Yes I would most definitely watch the 4th season and so on.. but now I cant. They suck for that! Maybe they just needed to rewrite the scripting or do something to draw the viewers back they lost. ♀️ I loved it though and was looking forward to season 4!!!

here’s another show that they canceled that the network’s going to the other going to give us a premier movie so they can least ended on a note goodnotes who cares I’d like to see this I want to watch shows and episodes I don’t want to watch a finale movie on it a 2 hour episode big deal I want the whole show back it’s like riders are getting lazy and don’t want to do it anymore when you write it good hit show and now they want to quit it
How could they cancel Star. That was literally everyone’s favourite show, it’s like saying they weren’t gonna continue Empire. Empire and Star are literally the same thing ♀️

I was waiting for Star to come back with season 4 I thought it was a wonderful show would’ve loved to see the show some more where the singers have in the future , although Star herself could gave a better future now that she has a child don’t let her future end all with drama.

I’m heartbroken to see this show canceled me and my father used to watch it everyday before he passed we would always FaceTime and watch it together or he would call me and I’d explain what’s going on they can’t ended the show like they did there to many unanswered questions that everyone want answers for you can’t have people cry their eyes out at the end of the 3rd season and the leave us wondering please please renew for one last season we need to find out what’s happened to everyone
I am very upset that Star has been cancelled. My ex husband and I always looked forward to watching it every week. This makes us pretty sad. A lot of the show was true to real life. I can think of a lot more shows that should be cancelled instead.of Star. I hope they bring it back!!!
Sad this show was ended..I would of watched season 4.5.6 it was a great show..There is not enough shows on fox that the urban culture can relate to..Better yet enjoy…I rarely watch fox anymore..The only shows that were enjoyable were star and empire..Star was cancelled and empire on its last season very sad….
