The beat won’t go on for one FOX series. The network has cancelled their Star TV show so it won’t be back for a fourth season.
A music industry drama, Star’s cast includes Queen Latifah, Brandy Norwood, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, Brittany O’Grady, Amiyah Scott, Quincy Brown, Miss Lawrence, Luke James, Lance Gross, Luke James, Matthew Noszka, and William Levy. The series, set in Atlanta, follows the story of three talented young female singers and their rise to fame. The third season picks up three months after the conclusion of season two as Star (Demorest) returns home and the fates of Alex (Destiny) and Simone (O’Grady) are revealed.
The third season of Star on FOX is averaging a 1.08 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.58 million viewers. Compared to season two, that’s down by 18% in the demo and down by 13% in viewership. While it’s not one of FOX’s top-rated programs, the series continues to rank in the network’s top 10 series.

Absolutely I would watch Season 4 and I try to get my friends to watch too if they don’t already. I am seriously disappointed. I sure hope Netflix or Hulu or another streaming service will pick it up and continue with more seasons.
To me Star was the best series I ever been into , I choose to watch Star then Emipire. And I hate the way they ended season 3 like that. Half cast dies and star looses the baby, that it! So upset
I’m so sad that the show is going to end. I was so ready to see what was going to happen next I wanted to see who took the baby if there was going to be any revenge against the shootings at the wedding if Carlotta was going to take over the label how her son was going to react they’re having her as his mother all those things. please let the show go on for four more seasons
It’s insanely unfair to end that way we need closure please bring the show back it’s an amazing show an should not be cancelled tell Netflix or another Network to finish it or something please
I agree with everyone on here. It’s a great show! If it is going to be cancelled I do feel Fox owes it to it’s followers to at least make one last show to finalize it. As with any series finale they left us hanging waiting to find out the answers to everything that has happened, but that’s not a good ending if it’s being cancelled. Someone needs to fix this!!!

Why not renew star fir at least one more season don’t leave us in the wind about what happens after all that chaos SMDH not fair I invested that hour religiously to see what happens next Come on Fox please give us one more season!! I think star should continue because there is A LOT more that can happen in the show , and it’s not not fair to everyone who watches it for it to be canceled because some people stopped watching watching it !

This sucks. I love this TV show and its been getting better and better and yall cancelled it when it was being at its best. Please bring Star back!!!

I am so bummed this series is not at the very least giving us closure. The fans deserve to see it go with an ending.
