What’s This TV Show About?
Airing on the FOX television network, Star follows three talented singers as they navigate the cut-throat music business on their road to success. They’re desperate for a new start and have ambitions of stardom. As reality seeps into the girls’ fantasies, they begin to learn that ambition often comes at a cost. And sometimes that cost is too high. The cast includes Queen Latifah, Benjamin Bratt, Jude Demorest, Ryan Destiny, and Brittany O’Grady. Lenny Kravitz guest stars.

Telly’s Take
This music drama debuted in December 2016 with a 2.15 rating in the demo and an audience of 6.71 million viewers. Although that is a strong start, the network then took the fledgling musical drama off the air for three weeks. When it returned on January 4th, it garnered a 1.59 in the demo and 4.72 million viewers. In its fourth week, Star fell to a 1.23 and 3.958 million, respectively. By the time FOX renewed Star for season two, on February 22nd, it was averaging a 1.41 demo rating and an audience of 4.46 million. Subscribe to this page. After all, even renewals can be cancelled.

Star is an amazing show. Tons of drama that touches a variety of topics. The girls are very talented. My family looks forward to another season. Hopefully many more. Fox has a habit of cutting shows before they even get started. Because of that we’re very hesitant to get into watching anything on Fox. But Star is at of the top of our “must see tv” list.

I really enjoyed STAR a friend had recommended me to watch it and I was binge watching it on Hulu up until the last episode when I realized there wasn’t a season 2 out yet! I searched online as to when it would be out and I found out it was renewed?! STAR is a really good show that, by the looks of it- has lost of viewers who enjoy watching it! Hopefully STAR season 2 comes back soon!

I hope they will not cancelled this serie like they have done with the exorcist, im tired of see stupid series . For godsake think about people like interesting shows .
If star was cancelled I would die. I started it on march 23rd 2017 and finished it on march 24th 2017. I’m hooked and I barley hook on to shows. I AM OBSESSED. My favorite characters are Simone and Cotton and Derek. I love everyone else too but these stand out the most and all get love from me the most.
