To Disney-ABC, it seems ending is better than mending. Freeform has cancelled its Stitchers TV show after three seasons. Since there will be no fourth season, Stitchers, episode 3.10, “Maternis,” will serve as both the season three finale and the TV series finale.
Airing on the Freeform cable channel, Stitchers stars Emma Ishta as Kirsten Clark; Kyle Harris as Cameron Goodkin; Ritesh Rajan as Linus Ahluwalia; Salli Richardson-Whitfield as Maggie Baptiste; Allison Scagliotti as Camille Engelson; and Damon Dayoub as Detective Quincy Fisher.
A sci-fi crime drama, Stitchers centers on Kirsten Clark (Ishta), a Caltech grad student who is recruited into a covert government agency to be “stitched” into the minds of the recently deceased. Using memories of the dead, Kirsten is able to help investigate murders and decipher mysteries that otherwise would have gone to the grave.
Stitchers: A Look at the Ratings
The third season of Stitchers averaged a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 365,000 viewers. Compared to the already low-rated season two, it was down by 14% and down by 6%, respectively. Among the 10 Freeform TV shows we’re tracking, the third season of Stitchers ranked seventh in terms of total audience size, and dead last, where its demo ratings are concerned.
Deadline has confirmed that Stitchers has been cancelled after three seasons on Freeform.

I saw expected this as they turned season 3 in real boring drama about relationships and they completely destroyed kirsten dad story, seriously about a genius who created that technology only people on drugs would do something like this. They knew that season 3 will be the last so it is producers fault. They should concentrate on real stuff and give us real stories and answers like what really happened years ago when kirsten dad created that technology and tried to save his wife with the help of his daughter kirsten who was young at that time and did government… Read more »
Really like this show, it’s so sad that the story can’t continue.
I hope they can at least give closure to loyal fans not cliffhanging them
This is one of my favorite shows. My husband and I both agree that there needs to be more!! Maybe they should just become a Netflix Original Series or a Hulu original series to keep things going! there is definitely ways around this!!!
I am so ANGRY… I love this show… it’s one of the only shows my son’s would watch with me.. I am extremely disappointed that the fans don’t get a season 4 to wrap things up!!! It’s honestly bad business…

I think there should be a season 4 becuase the story is left on a cliff hanger we have no clue who Keristen is saying to she will never forgive for, who is in on the plan I am really mad about this news
I binge watched all three seasons over the course of a few days. At first, I thought this show was a bit hokey. But as it went on, I saw the appeal so many fans do. Yes, it’s about the cases this group solves, but it’s more than that. It’s the relationships within this group of co-workers and friends. I think that’s what got me hooked. And after seeing the final episode, I feel like it’s an inadequate ending to a remarkable storyline. My daughter and I are upset that there will no longer be another season of Stitchers. We have watched the episodes on FREEFORM over an over. And now that we are hooked, we find out no more we are upset.

I love this show so much. The story line is captivating, and keep you on the edge…I can’t believe that they aren’t making another season!!! Ending it like that?! The characters were so well cast, I can’t believe this 🙁
I don’t have cable, but came across this series on hulu. After binge watching all 3 seasons I googled to see when season 4 was doing to debut and was totally crushed that there will be no season 4 to atleast close the cliffhanger from season 3…… I thought it was a great show.

We really enjoyed this show and were hoping to watch it again in season four. We told all of our friends how interesting and different it was. Boo hoo!
I literally had tears in my eyes after I saw that this show was canceled.. stitchers was the one show that I really was attached too especially with the connection between the actors and it’s viewers.. hopefully the show will come back and make a better season than ever before♥️♥️
This is so sad I really liked this show. And I think for everyone that loves this show we could get some kind of final show to tie everything together. There are some devoted fans out there other than me. I really hope someone else picks this show up.
