TV show description:
From creators Mark Verheiden and Gary Dauberman, the Swamp Thing TV show is a live-action adaptation of the DC Comics from Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson. The superhero horror drama centers on Dr. Abby Arcane (Reed) who returns to her Louisiana hometown, in order to investigate what is believed to be a lethal swamp-borne virus for the Centers for Disease Control (CDC).
While working, Abby grows quite close to scientist Alec Holland (Bean). Soon, however, she loses him in a tragedy. She then discovers the Swamp Thing (Derek Mears), a mysterious creature who dwells there. The swamp, it seems, is home to some frightening supernatural secrets. As they start to surface, no one is safe.

I really liked this series, I knew this show would get cancelled when it first came out and never bothered to watch it but changed my mind and now the cw channel is re-showing season one and If it gets enough views there maybe a season 2 and I really hope that it will be a season 2 of this show *Fingers crossed*
I am so shocked and gutted that it was cancelled, what good reason do they have for this regretful decision….?
I absolutely loved it, even though its not normally something I’d watch, i felt compelled to watch it and was I hooked straight away..The actors are fantastic, particularly Crystal Reed….please bring it back!!
Swamp thing is awesome
You should bring swamp thing back it makes a wonderful thriller DC series that and you can’t leave series open like that, things like that grinds my gears
I hope DC universe renews there Swamp Thing TV series..I done watched all of season one of it and enjoyed it a lot..Please Please Dc universe renew it..I want to see future episodes.do a season 2 and future seasons also.
This show is amazing. Everyone in our family loves it from young to old… which is a first…. its creative, funny, suspenseful… we are so sadly disappointed that they made this short sided and uninformed decision (cancelled 5 days after first episode). We will hesitate to invest in any new programming by them, if this is the kind of decisions they will make…. our family vote…. swallow your pride, admit the error and bring it back for another season!!

This show is awesome, it peaks the interest of all who have ever pondered, The Fountain of Youth, the so Called Holy Grail, I would also add that I don’t care much for the Demonic nature of shows, and even though this show has that, one needs to comprehend that this is the oldest lie, mixed with many angles, and a new spin.
