Things don’t look good for Ten Days in the Valley. Deadline reports ABC has pulled the freshman TV show from its Sunday-night timeslot.
The mystery drama centers on Jane Sadler (Kyra Sedgwick), a television producer whose daughter disappears in the middle of the night. The cast also includes Kick Gurry, Erika Christensen, Josh Randall, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Felix Solis, Francois Battiste, Abigail Pniowsky, Ali Liebert, and Marisol Ramirez.
Effective immediately, Ten Days in the Valley will no longer air on ABC on Sunday nights as it has been for the past four weeks. Instead, the show will take a break and return on Saturday, December 16th, at 9 p.m. ET/PT with back-to-back new episodes.
The schedule shift suggests ABC is leaning towards cancelling the low-rated series. Currently, Ten Days in the Valley is averaging a .44 in the 18-49 demo and only 2.714 million viewers, making it the network’s lowest-rated series for the 2017-2018 season so far.

I think its a great show. Kyra Sedgwick is a terrific actress and the plot is interesting. I hope it stays.

I have enjoyed the show a lot and was happy to see Kyra Sedgwick back on TV – I was a huge fan of her previous show The Closer. I was watching the new show and had my tv set to record it – I had been wondering what had changed so I went online and see these reports. Please finish out the season!!!!
Too bad ABC doesn’t have the guts to stick with a low-rated, yet good show. We watch it and enjoy it every episode! We are 38, 60 and 61 yrs. old. Every show can’t be in the top 10, but we don’t ALL want to watch the same show. Be bold, ABC and leave shows on, rather than re-running the same shows over and over.
Really enjoy this show and love Kyra Sedgwick!! Have been trying to find out what happened to it. Glad it will at least finish this season!!
I enjoyed this show. Good storyline and acting. I believe there were only 4 episodes, not enough time to find an audience. Sunday night seems like a difficult time slot. Looking forward to the Dec. 16 th episodes.
