The CW has renewed freshman series The 100 for a second season.
The 100 follows a group of young people who are sent back to Earth nearly 100 years after a nuclear Armageddon destroying civilization. The cast includes Eliza Taylor, Henry Ian Cusick, Paige Turco, Kelly Hu, Isaiah Washington, Marie Avgeropoulos, Bobby Morley, Thomas McDonell, Eli Goree, and Christopher Larkin.
While the show’s ratings haven’t been great, The 100 has been performing better than most of the network’s other new shows. It’s currently averaging a 0.6 rating in the 18-49 demographic with just under two million total viewers.
It debuted in March and the season is expected to conclude in mid-June.

I think it’s an interesting and nail biting show,,i would like to see the survivors from the ark to make it back to earth to see whether they can forgive the 100 for their crimes on the ark and give them the credit they deserve for surviving the hostility of the though times on a unpredictable earth,,love it,don’t scrap series two plz,..

I hope they can keep this one going. I have less need to suspend belief than some I guess. I like the dynamics and that it is not falling into the “lord of the flies” mode. I want to see how the folks on the space station handle things as well.

Karen I Agree With you The 100 is the best show ever but I am pissed off that the 100 is getting 16 episodes in season 2 it should’ve been 22 episodes mark only said 16 episodes but I hope that he changes his mind and give them 22 episodes
