What’s in store for the new season of The Expanse? According to an inside source, the recently revived Amazon TV show will begin shooting season four in September.
As reported earlier, Amazon has picked up the sci-fi drama for a new season after it was cancelled by Syfy. The series explores a vast conspiracy set 200 years in the future and stars Steven Strait, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Dominique Tipper, Cas Anvar, Wes Chatham, Shawn Doyle, and Frankie Adams.
Via an inside source, production on season four of The Expanse will take place from September to December. Prime Video has yet to announce a premiere date, but it will likely be in 2019.

There has to be conclusion, an end, and with the authors still writing the series of novels – it must be produced to the finish.

I have haven’t liked anything from SyFy since Farscape. I’ve read lots of Asimov’s and Star Trek and Six Million Dollar Man paperbacks in my youth thanks to a great cache of donated sci-fi at the local library.
Highly enjoyable. I hope Amazon does great things with it.

Thank you Amazon for saving the best ever science fiction series, ” The Expanse”! It would seem that someone over @ Syfy should be fired for making the wrong decision to cancel this fantastic and realistic look into the future.
They need to feature Amos more. Obviously there is quite the back story since they started talking about Baltimore, and he mentions he hasn’t been afraid since he was 5 years old. He about the most loyal guy you could ever want as a friend.
Yes, I am a great fan of The Expanse. Re-reading the books and looking forward to the new one this fall. I enjoy how the TV series makes enough changes to surprise book readers but keeps the flow.
