Can CeCe help catch the killers in the first season of The Genetic Detective TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Genetic Detective is cancelled or renewed for season two. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. Because many viewers feel frustration when their viewing habits and opinions aren’t considered, we invite you to rate all of the first season episodes of The Genetic Detective here. *Status update below.
An ABC true-crime series, The Genetic Detective follows investigative genetic genealogist CeCe Moore and her work with DNA technology company Parabon NanoLabs. In the series, Moore and her team revolutionize crime-solving by working with police departments and accessible crime scene DNA to help trace the path of a criminal suspect’s family tree, uncover their identity and bring them to justice. Since 2018, Moore has used her unique research skills to transform the face of crime-solving, helping to identify more than 100 violent criminal suspects.

Love, love, love this show. I’m into genealogy, but not so much on DNA, but with her explanations on how it works, it helps me to understand the process. There are lots of stories out there that she can explore. As previous comments indicate, she could delve into how she found the information that led to her conclusions as to the guilty party was. This could also be applicable to finding missing or unknown relatives so it doesn’t necessarily need to be police work on every episode. I love this show! I think it’s amazing how DNA can be used to track criminals. It’s also so interesting to see how CeCe builds the family trees. I agree with another comment that it would be interesting to go into a little more detail as to what resources she uses to build these trees, i.e. does she have access to records across the country or does she travel to the individual cities to research the local records? I really like the shows. Perhaps a slower approach of how Ms. Moore backtracks to find her culprit would be of interest. I am into genealogy so I understand most of it. A more detailed approach might benefit those who do not use genealogy. Ms. Moore is phenomenal.
This show is refreshing on a whole new way to solve crimes. CeCe is brilliant. Watching it in Vancouver, Canada. Please continue this show.

WE LOVE CECE! I think this show is great and needs to keep going! I have been waiting almost an entire month for a new episode. This is the future of crime solving!
I accidentally found the show The Genetic Detective and am so glad I did. I loved all the episodes and if I was just starting out in life, I believe this is a field I would love to pursue. I hope that this show will be renewed for the new season. I think with this type of detective work many more heinous crimes could be solved. CeCe Moore, keep up the good work!

Please renew the Genectic Detective. It is educational, amazing science lessons, drama, good acting giving background on how tedious this work is & always catches the bad guy.
