It appears that this cooking show is done. The Good Dish TV series has been cancelled so, there won’t be a second season — at least in its current form.
Airing in first-run syndication, The Good Dish premiered on January 14th of this year as a replacement to The Dr. Oz Show. The latter series was brought to a close after 13 seasons when host Mehmet Oz announced he would run for a U.S. Senate seat in Pennsylvania.
Hosted by Oz’s daughter Daphne, a natural foods chef, with culinary expert Gail Simmons and chef Jamika Pessoahe, The Good Dish is an expansion of Daphne’s weekly cooking segment on Dr. Oz. The series sought to present easy-to-recreate recipes, simple shortcuts, money-saving tips, must-have trends, and effortless how-tos.
Producer Sony Pictures Television had tried to sell a similar show in syndication in 2019 without success. Reportedly, Sony TV is exploring options to continue The Good Dish via cable or a streaming outlet.

I love watching”The Good Dish” and I’m bummed to hear it has been cancelled after 1 season. I enjoy each chef’s recipes and hints. I like the show much better than the Rachael Ray Show I’m afraid. I’ve kept many of the shows recipes. I wish it would come back for a second season.
When did this happen? I loved the good dish and am really sad to see it is cancelled. I have to admit I have not been watching very much tv during this nice weather. Replaced with the stupidest show on tv (in my opinion)

I loved watching the show every afternoon. I am sorry to see it is gone. That was my relaxing time watching these 3 wonderful ladies.
It seemed as if the two Caucasian co-hosts often ignored the African American co-host as if she did not belong. It is very sad that this crap happens simply because you can’t get over the color of a person’s skin. Shame on you! Glad to say Goodbye to this show.
I think it is a shame the show is cancelled. It is better than Rachel Ray.

I watched the show faithfully and tried many of their recipes, which were delicious! I am sorry to hear this news about being canceled. I loved the show and the the ladies of The Good Dish! I hope they can do something in the near future. The show will be missed.
These ladies are so down to earth and genuine! One of the most wholesome shows like Rachel Ray! They share stories that show authenticity from their home cooking ! They’re real ladies! Not fake like “The Real” show with the fake personality, like Adrienne!
