It appears that this cooking show is done. The Good Dish TV series has been cancelled so, there won’t be a second season — at least in its current form.
Airing in first-run syndication, The Good Dish premiered on January 14th of this year as a replacement to The Dr. Oz Show. The latter series was brought to a close after 13 seasons when host Mehmet Oz announced he would run for a U.S. Senate seat in Pennsylvania.
Hosted by Oz’s daughter Daphne, a natural foods chef, with culinary expert Gail Simmons and chef Jamika Pessoahe, The Good Dish is an expansion of Daphne’s weekly cooking segment on Dr. Oz. The series sought to present easy-to-recreate recipes, simple shortcuts, money-saving tips, must-have trends, and effortless how-tos.
Producer Sony Pictures Television had tried to sell a similar show in syndication in 2019 without success. Reportedly, Sony TV is exploring options to continue The Good Dish via cable or a streaming outlet.

I have never commented on a show before. I am writing today because you are cancelling a show I enjoy and find helpful about reminding me of dishes I have not thought of for a time or inspiring something new. it seems like a precipitous decision after one season and no effort s to change what the producers and dissatisfied viewers are complaining about. Problems with the wardrobe or acting of Daphne Oz could be changed. I have enjoyed The Good Dish and I am sorry that a wonderful program is to be canceled…The replacement, I am sure, will be as low as the what we have to view now. Good programs are few and far between and you have made a very big mistake with your choice to cancel…..Shame On You‼️‼️‼️
I love the 3 of them. However, many of their recipe’s are lousy or incorrect interpretations and they’re just too silly, which I hate. Not sorry to see them go under this foremat.
I loved the Good Dish! Sad to see it go The 3 women were funny, beautiful and seemed to be having so much fun. It was the first cooking show where I saw them actually eating the food and not just a little peck. I tried watching The Good Dish several times. The recipes were good and they had helpful ideas. My problem was with their outfits, loose hair, and Daphne, OMG, she messes with her hair, tries to be sexy and has to be the center of attention. It’s ok if they cancel the show.
I want to just REALLY POST A COMPLAINT NOT TO THE HOSTS OR THE SHOW BUT THE STATION AND THE EXECUTIVES WHO ARE IN CHARGE OF TV PROGRAMING AND LINE-UP YOU DIDN’T EVEN GIVE THE GOOD DISH SIX WEEKS AND IT WAS DECIDED TO FOR CANCELLATION.. I am disappointed you have chosen to end The Good Dish. I normally do not comment on choices made by TV network bosses because when you make decisions, WHY BOTHER!!! But honestly I was completely tired of Dr. Oz show and was happy The Good Dish was brought on board. It is a happy experience, great food and entertainment ideas. So disappointing to hear this show is being cancelled. It’s been part of our afternoons since its debut. All 3 hosts are talented, funny and we’ve tried a number of their recipes!
I enjoy watching The Good Dish. Each show gives great recipe ideas anyone can follow. It’s a fun upbeat show. Seems anything good is cancelled.
I love this show the recipes are easy and geared towards busy families. The cast is great ,why is it bein canceled?

I LOVED THE SHOW….MADE MANY OF THEIR RECIPES. THEY WERE EASY TO MAKE, NOT COMPLICATED LIKE MOST COOKING SHOWS. PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL.
I like the show but the women portrayed themselves especially Tamika and Dafney as Sexy. Too Silly. Recipes I am going to try. I think if it was more serious.
It would have lasted.
