Will there be another season of The Innocents? According to TVLine, Netflix has cancelled the TV show after only one season.
The supernatural drama follows young lovers June McDaniel (Sorcha Groundsell) and Harry Polk (Percelle Ascott), who defy their families and run away to be together. Their romantic adventure is upended when June starts to exhibit mysterious abilities. The cast also includes Guy Pearce, Jóhannes Hauker Jóhannesson, Laura Birn, Sam Hazeldine, Lise Risom Olsen, Trond Fausa, and Ingunn Beate Øyen.
Although Netflix has not confirmed the news, TVLine says The Innocents will not be returning for a second season.

I would absolutely watch season two and any more following. This is a fantastic story line that has potential, in many directions, to continue. I not only found it to be suspenseful but amazingly addictive. PLEASE reconsider and bring us another season or 10.
I hate not knowing what happens to Harry!! And even Harry’s Dad. Does June team up with Harry’s mom to solve the mystery? Don’t need a season 3, but definitely hate to see it hanging like this. 🙁

I have to agree with Teresa. After binging the show over the last few days. It could have ended with the last episode. However, they made it as a signpost to a second season. Come on Netflix give us at least a second season!

come on now, how is netflix gonna not add season 2? y’all got us bent at the end we as viewers wanna know what’s gonna happen. not only this show i’ve watched but multiple why even keep these if you don’t have all the seasons ? that’s ridiculous.
I’m from Poland I’ve watched season one with all my family and friends we LOVE it, How could the Netflix canceled such a show! Netflix you started to lose me too.

I’m very disappointed if the innocents is cancelled. Too much of a Cliff hanger to do that. As a viewer I feel betrayed. Why should I watch any single series on Netflix if they’re just going to leave me hanging. At least give us a 2 hour wrap up movie!!!
Dude that is horrible I loved Innocents its sad that they keep cutting all the good shows and keep adding junk Netflix is losing me I have very little shows I like on there anymore and they keep cutting them
I just binge watched season 1 and now I find out there will not be a season 2!!! Oh this is horrible Netflix! Please bring this series back!
I LOVED Season one. I would definitely watch a Season two. I’m very sad that this show will likely be canceled. The actors were terrific and the plot was very original. I hope it makes a return!
