TV show description:
Developed by writer Liz Heldens, The Passage TV show is based on the Justin Cronin book trilogy of the same name. The thriller series centers on Project NOAH, a secret medical facility at which scientists are experimenting with a virus which could either cure all diseases or destroy all of humanity.
When Federal Agent Brad Wolgast (Gosselaar) is assigned to bring in a new test subject, everything changes for him. The test subject in question is just a young girl, Amy Bellafonte (Sidney). It is not long before Wolgast falls into a paternal relationship with the child and realizes he must protect her, no matter what.
Brad and Amy run up against the top scientists at Project NOAH, including Major Nichole Sykes (Chikezie) and Dr. Jonas Lear (Cusick). The two also have to confront former Navy Operative Clark Richards (Piazza), an old trainee of Brad’s.
As their journey progresses, Brad and Amy meet up with a new race of beings who have been locked inside of Project NOAH. These include former scientist Tim Fanning (McShane), as well as death-row convicts Shauna Babcock (Howey) and Anthony Carter (Belcher).
On the hunt for allies, Brad turners Dr. Lila Kyle (Chriqui), who is also his ex-wife. Meanwhile, as the scientists are getting closer to a potential cure, the new creatures start to try out their powers and work toward an escape, the consequences of which would be catastrophic.

I really enjoyed this show, even though this genre isn’t my usual “cup of tea”. I liked the characters, especially Amy and Brad (the agent). I was a little surprised at the ending, but am hoping that there’ll be a second season! Can’t wait to see where this goes! My brother, who lives in Texas, and myself, (Kansas) record it and discuss it during our biweekly phone conversations.

All these zombie, “invasion of the body-snatchers” and vampire shows! There is a reason these shows have such a popular cult following. Echoes of a sub-conscious cry rising to the surface. Humanity to fulfill sacred congruous purpose must first discern how far fallen from potential this dog-eat-dog, mutually devouring “inhumanity” has become. I loved the series. I was confused by the finale, but if it comes back, maybe you can fill in the holes. My whole family watched it religiously, recorded it and sometimes watched it again.

Absolutely bring it back. Great character development in Season 1 and great chemistry among the cast. Along with Gotham, it’s a show I look forward to every week. Can’t wait for Season 2.

I absolutely love this show. My husband and I were hooked on the first episode. Please do all you can to continue making this show! If it doesnt continue then the ending was very well played. I’ll be waiting!
Please renew the show, but make the end of the season a bad dream and bring her back into the present reguardless of the book it is based off of.
My family was loved the show but the ending sucked big time. So depressing and disappointing. I watched a show where all the characters I liked die, and the bad guy wins. Based on that, we wouldn’t watch a second season. Fox, you screwed this one up.
Read the books. You will see that what was season 1 was only about a third of the first of three novels. Most of these people are superfluous to the story and you haven’t even met most of the main characters yet.
If FOX is bright enough to renew the show, you’ll be surprised . Let me say this, the “end” wasn’t the end. Don’t expect death and/or disappearance of every single character you cared for. There’s good reason behind the “confusion” – or rather the seeming fatality. If anything, the “end” opened a door for more – an extension – of what we love.

Hi I know it did I was hoping that Amy was someone with powers to,who was able to control her urge to suck blood and remain her beautiful self as a child and not kill innocent people but give it a chance to see what next season will be first we might like it please try once more the season finale should have not have been what was it? How many years had went by that is what was far fetched but please don’t throw it under the bus yet but they better justify that last part on the time… Read more »
