How will these officers’ lives change in the fourth season of The Rookie TV show on ABC? As we all know, the Nielsen ratings typically play a big role in determining whether a TV show like The Rookie is cancelled or renewed for season five. Unfortunately, most of us do not live in Nielsen households. An ABC police drama series, The Rookie TV show stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Melissa O’Neil, Eric Winter, and Mekia Cox. As the story begins, John Nolan (Fillion) is a middle-aged divorced man from Pennsylvania. He owns a construction company but decides to give up his old life to pursue a new career as a police officer in the Los Angeles Police Department. He graduates from the Police Academy and becomes the oldest rookie on the force. He works with Sergeant Wade Grey (Jones), Detective Angela Lopez (Diaz), training officers Nyla Harper (Cox) and Tim Bradford (Winter), and fellow rookie Lucy Chen (O’Neil).

I watched the second of a two part show regarding a arsonist. Nolan involved in a fight with a suspect, tied up and a gun fight starts. I thought it was a great show. Please renew. The show has everything, police work plus a little humor.
My Husband and sister love this show… ABC has put it in a bad time slot .. I have to record it and watch it the next day .

The Rookie has turned into a soap opera, Officer Nolan acting stupid about his girlfriend. Too much personal life issues, not enough police work.
Me personally think the show lost its edge after the first season and need to bring in 4 more rookies so the other cops can train them so we can call it the rookie again cheers!!!
An okay series but a bit like a soap opera. Nolan character needs to be a little more realistic…he oozes too much perfection…too much of a nice guy…doesn’t feel real.
The camera views on TV screen are annoying
The two shows with using body cams were awful. It did not make us feel like we were there. Ruining a good show
