The CW is starting over on Monday nights. They’ve cancelled both Star-Crossed and The Tomorrow People after one season apiece.
On The Tomorrow People, a teenager (Robbie Amell) discovers that he has paranormal abilities. He also learns that others like him have gone into hiding because they’re being hunted by a paramilitary group of scientists known as Ultra. The rest of the cast includes Luke Mitchell, Peyton List, Aaron Yoo, Mark Pellegrino, and Madeleine Mantock.
The drama debuted back in October and aired on Wednesday nights, paired with the network’s popular Arrow series. It performed well in the beginning but the ratings fell over the course of the season, dropping as low as a 0.4 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 1.24 million viewers.
The series moved to Monday nights and lost even more viewers. In last April, The Tomorrow People hit a series low, drawing just 760,000 viewers.
The season (now series) finale, which aired this week, left plenty of story opportunities for a second season but it won’t be happening.

Only have 2 episodes left on season 1…really upset that they’ve not made a season 2 and cancelled. What a waste of a great programme that had so much crammed into one programme…love it. Now I’m very unhappy.
How can they make season two from The 100 and cancel The tomorrow people?? The tomorrow people has a good story and good acteurs, i can,t believe this…

This show is so addicting. I rewatch it all the time. I’m really sad and disappointed that they cancelled the second season. They couldve made something great out of the show.

I absolutely do not think it should have been cancelled!!!! I love this show so much and was heartbroken to learn that it wasn’t coming back. they left me hanging with that ending and now i don’t get to see what happens!!! This makes me angry.

Would like to see another season. It was fun watching this show because it dealt with trust and deception. Family issues and left many questions open ended. Where is Morgan? Maybe you can bring it back, because there is plenty of material to write up.
I just finished watching season 1. My family loved the show. You can’t just stop at season 1. That would be a total disappointment. Please make a season 2! Please….
I would Love to see The tomorrow people coming back. I also got my whole family watching, it was a lot of fun, great actors and a nice adventurous plot.

I can’t believe they are not making a season 2. Season 1 was amazing, I blew though it in a few days on Netflix. I really hope they decide to relaunch it for a new season. There is a real money maker in this show. Well even if they don’t bring it back, at least the ending of season 1 was not a major cliff hanger but still there is so much that could happen in a season 2.

Season 2
I was really upset to learn there wasn’t going to be a second season. This show was more than amazing. It had a morale to it that can be applied to everyday life about trust and honor as well as friendship. When I started watching this I got addicted to it quick and got my whole family to watch it and they liked it just as much as I did.
