TV show description:
A toy design competition series, on The Toy Box TV show, inventors present their toys to the show’s mentors including Dylan’s Candy Bar owner Dylan Lauren, toy guru Jim Silver, and Pixar Creative Director of Consumer Products Jen Tan.
If the mentors officially approve a concept toy, its inventor moves on to “The Toy Box.” There, inventors must face the real test and earn the approval of actual kids, including Sophia Grace Brownlee, Aalyrah Caldwell, Toby Grey, and Noah Ritter.
These judges choose which toys will progress to the finals. After the season finale, the winning toy will be sold exclusively at Toys ”R” Us.
Toy concepts presented in the first season include: a reimagining of the soccer ball with special surprises inside, a racing game where players dressed in a worm costume race to cross the finish line, a multicultural doll collection who sings and speaks in multiple languages, a backyard swing inspired by a surfboard, a party game that launches toys, prizes and candy, a unique double-sided book that makes story time even more fun, a collection of dolls that articulate into ballet positions, and pocket-sized cars that launch with a snap.

The finalists from each episode return to “The Toy Box,” where the young judges decide who will have their toy made by Mattel and sold exclusively at Toys”R”Us.

I can’t stand that red head boy he’s got to go or I won’t be watching this show no more he acts like he is the most intelligent one on the show and he is actually making himself look like he younger than he is but the other children I love and they act normal and politely to the contestants
I like the toy box but can’t stand the little red head boy he needs to go and be replaced for he acts to fake like and he is just to obnoxious to watch I hope he gets replaced next season !!!!!!!!!!!’ Or I won’t watch it next year
this show is horrible, the kids are so rude. Really what we need a show where the kids are so rude to Adults. What they are trying to pass off as cuteness just comes off as children behaving badly.
The host was even worse. No personality and attempts to be funny failed miserably.
Had high hopes for this show…BUT WAS SOOOOO DISAPPOINTED AT EVERY LEVEL! I thought the host wasn’t funny and his innuendos TOTALLY inappropriate. The “inventors” seemed fake, pushy, and overly theatrical. WORST, was the judges: both the adults and children ~ SO ANNOYING! **UGH!** just a terrible show!
It’s a kids show. Leave all of sexual innuendo from the host out. Wow!

Could not even make it to the end of the show. The kids “acting-like-it was-not-scripted” was not enjoyable to watch at all.
We didn’t like this show and won’t watch any further episode, We thought Noah was loud and obnoxious. Otherwise it was a fair show for family viewing.

I LOVED THE SHOW…………. ESPECIALLY THE LAST HALF HOUR WITH THE KIDS…… NOAH IS A HOOT………. THE EMCEE ALSO RELATES WELL WITH THE KIDS…… THEY KNOW WHAT THEY WANT IN TOYS…….. SOMETHING DIFFERENT,,,,, AND FUN FOR ONCE… THAT OTHER KIDS CAN WATCH ALSO… WE NEED THINGS FOR KIDS TO WATCH MORE…. PRAY IT KEEPS ON THE AIR……. WE NEED “POSITIVE” AND ” FUN” ….. ON TV.. ANY ONE WHO DISLIKES IT,,, TURN THE CHANNEL AND GO AWAY… I LOVE IT………………..WE GOOD PEOPLE NEED GOOD TV…….. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEXT SHOW……..
What show were you watching? The emcee is horrible. I agree we need shows kids can watch, but this isn’t it! A giant commercial for Toys R Us.
I watched it and it was ok. Think they got judging backwards. Think the kids should test play to see if they like it, then the adults who don’t yammer on and on about stupid stuff can make an EDUCATED judgment.
I watched the show last night and thought it was very poor. The kids, especially Noah, seemed very “coached”, as well as disrespectful. I would never allow my children to speak so rudely and act so disrespectfully. It was obvious the producers think this is funny. It is not a show my family will ever watch again.
I really enjoyed the show.. I laughed so hard, love the kids!! Love Eric Stonestreet.. keep the episodes coming..
I watched The Toy Box yesterday and unfortunately did not like it. I thought I would enjoy the show but the adult judges seemed dull and the children especially Noah seemed very arrogant and now the least but cute or funny. I will not watch again.
Considering the crummy shows we have out there. (like SharkTank and that Modern Family nonsense, Toy Box isn’t half bad. And for the record, if you think these kids are arrogant, you apparently never seen teenagers.
I admit it’s not the most original idea, but unlike Flash, Gotham, Arrow, the Kardashians , Dancing with the Stars, Agents of Shield, Legends of Tomorrow, SharkTank, and Fuller House? This is watchable.
