What’s in store for Transparent‘s final season? Deadline reports the Amazon TV show’s fifth and final season will end with a musical episode.
As reported earlier, the award-winning series was put on hold after star Jeffrey Tambor was fired last year amid allegations of sexual harassment. The cast also includes Judith Light, Gaby Hoffmann, Amy Landecker, Jay Duplass, Rob Huebel, and Kathryn Hahn.
Speaking to The New York Times, Transparent creator Jill Soloway revealed the Prime Video series will bow out with a two-hour musical episode:
It will hopefully feel like Jesus Christ Superstar mixed with La La Land mixed with Flight of the Conchords with something more Jewish thrown in. A little Yentl.”
The fifth and final season is expected to debut in fall 2019.
What do you think? Do you watch Transparent? How do you want the series to end?
But if there’s no Jeffrey tambor than what’s the point?
