Written by Bram Stoker, the story of Dracula has been around for nearly 120 years. There have been many adaptations and now, Syfy is trying a new twist that focuses on the daughter of Count Dracula’s nemesis, Abraham Van Helsing. Will this show last for many years or, will it be cancelled? Will it even be renewed for a second season? Stay tuned.
On Van Helsing, Vanessa “Van” Helsing (Kelly Overton) awakens from a long coma and finds that the world has been overtaken by vampires. A descendent of a lineage of warriors, she discovers that she has a unique blood composition that makes her not only immune to vampires, but she has the ability to turn a vampire human. With this secret weapon, Vanessa becomes a prime target for the vampires, while trying to save humanity. The rest of the cast includes Jonathan Scarfe, Christopher Heyerdahl, Paul Johansson, David Cubbit, Vincent Gale, and Tim Guinee.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings, the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available.

It’s the lead character that hooked me to this show. I was so intrigued and fascinated from the beginning on just wanting to know who in the world this woman is and what is she capable of…and every episode hooks me in with something more intriguing and makes me want to have a say in what happens.
