*5/10/2021 update: When Calls the Heart has been renewed for a ninth season on Hallmark Channel.
Patiently waiting for Elizabeth to declare her love for Lucas. Nathan would be a better. match with Fiona.
Season 8 has so many back to back commercials that we can’t watch it anymore .
We love When Calls The Heart and hope it will continue. We also liked the show Hope Calls. We love the characters and the scenery. The shows are excellently done.
I really love the show, but I thought the first episode was kind of boring. I know the Elizabeth/Nathan/Lucas will be resolved this Season, but in this episode Elizabeth is still flipping back and forth. I hope they resolve it in the beginning episodes and not make us wait till Episode 12.
Ha, they beat that story to death and more. She supposedly doesnt ‘pick’ until the last 10 minutes of E12. What a waste of time to watch that drivel. I think most college theatre departments could have done 1000% better.
Every time we find a good show to watch they want to take it off. I love this show and can’t wait for the the next show. I love all the players. And the spin off from it called When Hope Calls is another show that is very good. I look forward to both these shows and hope they continue.
I love this series. A group of us friends watch it together, and record it for future watching! I have watched it from the beginning and the folks of Hope Valley seem like family. The actors and producers are wonderful. I always anticipate next weeks show.
Elizabeth needs to grow up. Make a decision between these 2 men and quit stringing them and her viewers along and giving false hope.
I agree with you. Should NOT take all season to decide between the two men. Would like for her to make a decision and show proceed from there.
I agree please stop this triangle. She is dating Lucas so let Nathan fine someone else.
Nathan never had a chance – there was no triangle – Lucas was the wrong choice.
This whole ‘triangle’ is cheapening Elizabeth’s heart. She seems to just want to toy with them, if this was true love like she had with Jack, it would be spontaneous, a love that just draws her in and is just right above all else. This show has cheapened Elizabeth’s character, she does not love either one of these guys she just likes the attention and would rather have two men fawn over her than be a great single mom, hold the love of Jack in her heart forever, and just remain single and happy until she meets Jack in Heaven.
Really enjoying the new season and hoping doesn’t take all season for Elizabeth to choose between Nathan and Lucas. Like to see the trivia cut out to be able to enjoy more new content.
I am happy that season 8 is here, but I hate when you show us flashback. If the episode is 45 minutes, please show us 45 minutes of it. I wonder what is it with every programme this year 2021, everyone is showing us flashback.
Happy it is back on. Yay!
Keep the shows coming!! The hour goes by so fast and you can’t wait for next weeks show
Love this series and have waited patiently for it to come back with a new season. What a feel good series like Little House on the Prairie was. Kudos to the writers and actors.
I’m excited to be back in Hope Valley! Good to see our favorite characters. Here’s hoping for Season 9!
Boring
Season premiere was good. I hope they bring Lori Loughlin back now that she’s available she’s what’s missing from the show.
