It seems Zoo has some surprises in store. The cast of the CBS series recently revealed the season two finale will feature a major cliffhanger, TVLine reports.
The drama follows a young zoologist (James Wolk) as he tries to figure out why animals have started attacking humans. The cast also includes Kristen Connolly, Nonso Anozie, Billy Burke, Josh Salatin, and Alyssa Diaz.
In an interview with TVLine, Wolk said the season two cliffhanger sets up a “very interesting” season three. While CBS has not yet renewed the series, ratings for season two have been decent so far, with an average of .78 in the 18-49 demo and 4.661 million viewers.

Wow….What a cliffhangar!!!!! Am definitely looking forward to a third season. Seasons 1 and 2 both left me on the edge of my seat waiting for the next episode to appear……Can’t wait to see what season 3 has in store for us!!

It will be interesting to see how well Alyssa Diaz’s character is received. The character of Chloe was an integral part of the show and well liked by the fans. Killing her off may have been the “jumping the shark” moment for the show.
