A familiar face is coming to The Middle. TVLine reports Everybody Loves Raymond star Monica Horan will reunite with former co-star Patricia Heaton on an upcoming episode of the ABC TV show.
Horan played Amy MacDougall-Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond opposite Heaton’s Debra Baron. The Middle stars Heaton as a middle-class mother of three living in suburban Indiana. The cast also includes Neil Flynn, Charlie McDermott, Eden Sher, and Atticus Shaffer.
In an episode set to air this spring, Horan will play Brick’s (Shaffer) “second mother,” Anna Ferguson. ABC has not yet announced the premiere date for the episode, which is being directed by cast member Charlie McDermott.
What do you think? Are you a fan of Everybody Loves Raymond? Do you watch The Middle?
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE The Middle! Devastated they have decided to make this it’s last year. I liked and watched ‘Raymond” however The Middle is way better! I am so upset it is ending when so much more story can happen within this show. I hope ABC will listen to The Middle’s fans and choose to keep it going. I can not imagine this family not coming in to my living room as they seem like family to me and many others. Everything I’ve read has been pleas to NOT end this great TV comedy. Please listen to your audience.
Both shows are great!! I have them in DVD as well, and watch them over and over. I know the Middle is going on season 9 in the fall, and I hope it continues for many more seasons!!!
Both shows are fantastic!!!! I hope The Middle sticks around for more seasons!!!
Yes…….we loved The Raymond Show & also watch The Middle from the beginning…..a reunion is great but most of all we want The Middle brought back. This cancellation has ruined our tv watching lives. Wonderful, clean, funny as can be…..was just part of our lives…….are sick over this.
Ummm….The Middle wasn’t cancelled. In fact, it was recently renewed for a 9th season.
I’ve read everything concerning The Middle and ABC absolutely said this is their last season, that’s why it’s labeled The Farewell episodes. I so wish you were right and I keep writing campaigning ABC to change their minds and renew this great comedy!
Love The Middle. The older son reminds me of mine at that age.
I have been watching The Middle since the beginning and now the reruns too. All the characters are perfect for their part. It shows how hectic life is in a comical way. Mike is the perfect example of a dad. He doesn’t say much but he sets a good example. Just love this show and I am a 70 year old grandma.
