It looks like Rosewood is packing it in. Today, it was revealed that the TV show had been cancelled after two seasons.
The crime drama centers on Dr. Beaumont Rosewood Jr. (Morris Chestnut), a charismatic pathologist, who teams up with tough Miami homicide detective Annalise Villa (Jaina Lee Ortiz). The cast also includes Lorraine Toussaint, Gabrielle Dennis, Anna Konkle, Domenick Lombardozzi, and Eddie Cibrian.
Despite an auspicious first season, Rosewood struggled in the ratings during season two. Overall, the sophomore season averaged a 0.66 in the 18-49 demo and 3.03 million viewers. For comparison. season one earned an average rating of 1.34 in the 18-49 demo and 4.79 million viewers. That’s a near 50% drop in the ratings. It seems fans of the FOX series didn’t stick around for season two.

Just finished watching Rosewood’s 44 episodes on Hulu. I knew there were no more episodes but thought it would close up. I think, while very late to the game, maybe a streaming platform could pick it back up. Just saying. #Rovilla

If a show is not going to be renewed, I wish a 2 hour mini series would be written so the 3 million viewers who DO love it, are appreciated. I pay for the streaming series that carried Rosewood and I’m tired of the many series I’ve watched ending with a cliff hanger. I pay to see a show and that means a beginning …middle … and END….

God bless America!!!!! I just benged watch the show on Hulu. And it was intense I loved it. Lord have mercy, finally a show that was worth watching. Then to end it like that WOW thanks Fox’s. Maybe it’s time to dig in and bring it back. I’m just saying I want more!!
