The gang is back. Digital Spy reports that British comedy troupe The League of Gentlemen will be reuniting for a new project.
Comprised of Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton, Reece Shearsmith, and Jeremy Dyson, the group began performing in 1995.
In 1999, the group got their own sitcom, also titled The League of Gentlemen, which ran on BBC Two. The series followed the eccentric inhabitants of Royston Vasey over the course of 19 episodes. Though the series was cancelled in 2002, a spin-off film premiered in 2005.
Ten years later, the league is looking to collaborate once again. However, co-founder Steve Pemberton said “it might take a couple of years.”
Currently, Pemberton and Shearsmith work on the dark comedy Inside No. 9, which was just renewed for a third season. Meanwhile, Gatiss has his hands busy as the co-showrunner for Sherlock.
