Almost Paradise has wrapped its first season on WGN America, and the series has not yet been renewed for a second season. However, series creator Dean Devlin spoke about what fans could see in a second season in an interview with Assignment X.
Devlin talked about the island on the WGN America series, and he revealed that “the island of Mactan is a character in our show and we want to explore that character much farther.” He also noted that, in season two, the show would continue to evolve “evolving into new directions, while maintaining it’s fun core. We’re excited to see where that can lead us.”
Viewers may also see some more of the characters introduced in season two of Almost Paradise. Devlin wants to bring back Uncle Danny (Richard Kind) for more in the second season.

I just found this show today & watched 6 episodes this afternoon. I enjoyed it very much & will watch the rest of Season 1 tomorrow. I’m crossing my fingers they will get a Season 2 on another network.
I love Christian Kane in this role. It’s nice to see a show set in a totally different setting than NY, LA, Chicago, etc. I saw Christian first in Leverage and I liked him right away. Please renew this really great show.
I have just finished watching the whole 1st season of Almost Paradise and I just love this show. I didn’t want it to end. Please be sure it comes back for season two. I LOVE THIS SHOW!
I have been a fan of Christian Kane since I first saw him in Leverage. I also enjoyed watching him in the series The Librarian. I was very happy to stumble upon the series Almost Paradise. It has an interesting story line, which I have found very entertaining. It has a great cast who seem to mesh well together. I also enjoyed watching these episodes a second or third time on demand. Love the show and its action. Great to see Christian Kane . So enjoyed him in Leverage and now in this series. The supporting cast is excellent and ties it all together so well. I am recording and watching the marathon and looking forward to the next session.

Please find a home for season 2. Caught one episode for free on Amazon Prime. We enjoyed so much we purchased the season. I love Christian Kane. The rest of the cast was fabulous. The story lines were fun and exciting. Can’t wait for season 2. Please keep us posted on a home for the show!!
