Sometimes you can’t beat walking the beat. FOX has cancelled Len Wiseman’s APB TV show after just one season.
A high-tech police drama, APB stars Justin Kirk as billionaire engineer Gideon Reeves, who takes charge of the troubled 13th District, after the murder of his friend. The FOX cast also includes: Natalie Martinez, Caitlin Stasey, Ernie Hudson, Taylor Handley, Tamberla Perry, and Nestor Serrano.
APB: A Look at the Ratings
The first season of APB averaged a 0.78 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.43 million viewers. While its total average audience size was respectable (when compared to the rest of FOX’s shows), the demo numbers were far too low for a freshman drama, hence the cancellation. APB was fresh with some good hints at backstory plus interaction between characters. Should have been RENEWED. I waited to see it EVERY week! Reconsider FOX please!
I am really sorry to read APB was cancelled, I enjoyed the interface between a crime drama and the creative thinking of applying tech the way they applied it.

My wife and I also love the show I just googled the find out when it was coming back on and to my surprise I find it’s been canceled you invest time in a full season and you wait months or weeks for the show to come back on only to be disappointed . The same thing happened with last man standing and almost the same thing with 24 at least they let us know halfway through that last season it would not be coming back I’m really getting tired of this happening. My husband and I loved this show. So different to anything else. It shouldn’t have been cancelled.
I am really disapointed in hearing that APB will not be on anymore I finally get excited and count the days for a new episode of my favorite show to come on then to find out it won’t be coming on anymore really don’t understand I think that was the best show fox had to offer just want to tell you that you really messed up on this one and I lost a lot of respect for fox for doing so and if they don’t bring it back on air then I will purposely not watch any of there shows… Read more »

A great show among a bunch of trash. It had all the elements of a show having longevity. Reminds me of ABC cancelling a lot of great shows.
I rhought APB was a good show. Creative, humorous and had a good plot. It is frustrating to eatch a new show get hooked and then they cancel it. I think they is a network that could take these shows and if given the riggt opportunity might flourish.
I can not believe they cancelled this show. My husband is pretty sure there is a conspiracy that cancels every show we like, I’m beginning to agree.
APB by far is the most interesting tech movie I have really enjoyed. I normally despise tech movies with all the robotic scientific nonsense that comes with it but funny, somehow , someway APB got me. IT gave me a new viewing ectasy and a love and appreciation for tech I never imagined and now FOX wants to take it away from me? so sad but you don’t get to do that with people’s emotions. Bring back APB.
