TV show description:
Based on the Green Arrow superhero from DC Comics, this TV series follows the tale of billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). After being involved in a violent shipwreck, he’s presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote Pacific island.
When Oliver returns home to Starling City, he’s welcomed by his devoted mother Moira (Susanna Thompson), his beloved sister Thea (Willa Holland), and his best friend Tommy (Colin Donnell). They sense however that Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he’s become, he desperately wants to make amends for the selfish actions he took as a boy.
Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy). As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory.
By day, Oliver plays the role of the wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be — flanked by his devoted chauffeur and tough-as-nails bodyguard, John Diggle (David Ramsey). While doing this, he carefully conceals the secret identity he uses under the cover of darkness.
Laurel’s father, Detective Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), is determined to arrest this Arrow vigilante that’s operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver’s own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she’s let on and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine.

What do you think? Do you like the Arrow TV series? Do you think it should have ended with season eight? Would you have watched season nine?
I think it should be renewed it’s a great storY very well put together and I believe they should keep it going
Please renew this show it is awesome!
Please move this show to run during the week in the same slot as Bones…Since it has finely been canceled. This is for pass seasons. current season should move to Wednesday night 8:00pm time slot.
The show should be continued. Episode 20 on season 5 showed a lot of healing to the major characters that need to be followed through.
Excellent show brought me to the CW keep up the good work
I love the show please keep it going
I like the show keep it running good to watch something different
I recommend this show as it has gotten better and better with each new season. Great story, great acting and great fight scenes. I got attached to the cast and hope to see many more future episodes.
I have stopped watching the Green Arrow because of the us of the program to push political points of view. I watch programs for entertainment not to be lectured about political view points. There have been other CW programming that does the same thing and I have stopped watching those as well.
I started watching when I got HULU and could start with the pilot . I go way back with the comics in the late 50’s when he had an outfit that looked like Errol Flyne’s Robinhood and of course now with the new school ARROW Hood look and I have to say nice job taking the comic book to TV . It’s not silly and the writers leave alone what’s been established and the show works . He looks great ( Give credit to the trainer ) . I wish other comic hero shows did as well . Flash is… Read more »
I am very happy that Arrow was renew of course
Renew of course. I look forward to watching more. I have always been a fan of the Arrow.
Originally I thought this was a great show as I had purchased all of the seasons and binge watched religiously. However, as I watched more closely and paid more attention to the details, I realized that the storylines are tainted with liberal propaganda. I feel this is very distasteful and I stopped watching it.
(If this is a real comment) Throughout the Comics the Green Arrow is known for being very Liberal.
I love this show I hope to keep watching it I also hope this show goes on DvD
Was watching the last episode will most probably not watch another one.
Once you start preaching to ,the folks watching about gun control its not a show any more its what the liberal writers want?
