TV show description:
Based on the Green Arrow superhero from DC Comics, this TV series follows the tale of billionaire playboy Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). After being involved in a violent shipwreck, he’s presumed dead for five years before being discovered alive on a remote Pacific island.
When Oliver returns home to Starling City, he’s welcomed by his devoted mother Moira (Susanna Thompson), his beloved sister Thea (Willa Holland), and his best friend Tommy (Colin Donnell). They sense however that Oliver has been changed by his ordeal on the island. While Oliver hides the truth about the man he’s become, he desperately wants to make amends for the selfish actions he took as a boy.
Most particularly, he seeks reconciliation with his former girlfriend, Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy). As Oliver reconnects with those closest to him, he secretly creates the persona of Arrow – a vigilante – to right the wrongs of his family, fight the ills of society, and restore Starling City to its former glory.
By day, Oliver plays the role of the wealthy, carefree and careless philanderer he used to be — flanked by his devoted chauffeur and tough-as-nails bodyguard, John Diggle (David Ramsey). While doing this, he carefully conceals the secret identity he uses under the cover of darkness.
Laurel’s father, Detective Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne), is determined to arrest this Arrow vigilante that’s operating in his city. Meanwhile, Oliver’s own mother, Moira, knows much more about the deadly shipwreck than she’s let on and is more ruthless than he could ever imagine.

What do you think? Do you like the Arrow TV series? Do you think it should have ended with season eight? Would you have watched season nine?
We love Arrow and beg u to renew this show!!! We must have him back!!! Please!!!
With Mia now having her own suit she is now the new green arrow so the show must go on.
keep it going I love the show
Please do not end this show. This was my only entertainment. I love this show. There is a lot more to go to the series. It’s one of the best shows I’ve seen.
I Love This Show!!!! I do not want this show to end. I think that there is still a lot more of Arrow’s story and all it’s other characters stories that need to be told. Please continue renewing this show!!!!!
I think it’s an awesome show and go on great job team!!!!!!!
So glad to hear this is finally being cancelled. I stopped watching when Felicity, by typing really, really fast, was causing cellphone batteries to explode in the villian-of-the-moment’s pocket, disabling him (naturally!), and all before he could ‘pull the trigger’ – too stupid for words. Then there was her becoming Arrow’s side-kick… to label her “demunitive” in stature is not overstating it, so, give me a break! Then there was Arrow’s super-powers – basically, he shoots arrows, while slapping a few bad guys around, all the time moralising about it all, yawn… That was around season 2, so never an… Read more »
I think the show should keep going just finished season 8 wasn’t crazy about switching back and forth on the timeline, but it finished very strong leaving me wanting more. I also think Felicity needs to stay with the show she does bring a lot to the show and will surely be missed by all the fans
It should be renewed. Hopefully though the dialogue will be better from season 7. It doesn’t fit very well with the
The show ran its course in my opinion. I remember when this show was going to be only 4 seasons but they managed to keep it going til now. The show had only but a downward direction to go because to me the first 4 season was the best of this series but now the story line has been getting weaker and weaker as the series continues to go forward. This is the right time to close the show out. In my humble opinion of course.
Lol what? Season 3 and 4 are the worst of the series and it only got exponentially better since then.
Keep the best super hero drama on tv going. We know that no comic book hero is ever really gone. Bringing him back could be a great plotline.
Yes it needs to keep going. Even if Felicity leaves, Arrow could still be around. I saw him in Elseworlds and thought it was somewhat odd. So is this going to be his new direction?
I love arrow I cried last night, I thought about it off and on all day I’m upset about it and then they killed off Oliver so that means he’s not coming back if arrow or felicity not going to be on the show anymore I’m not watching anymore they’re my favorite characters and made the show thanks have a blessed day
This show should absolutely be renewed! It is one of the better ones on tv and should not be ended. There is always more story and the e writers should get on all involved to continue this she.
I have loved Arrow from the beginning. Why it should be cancelled is bs. There is nothing wrong with the show and I have grown to love each of the cast on arrival. This should be renewed. Id choose this over trashy G.O.T anyday.
