It looks like the vacation is over. Recently, Jeff Dye confirmed that NBC has cancelled Better Late Than Never after two seasons.
The reality show follows Henry Winkler, William Shatner, Terry Bradshaw, and George Foreman as they travel the world with both help and misdirection from tech-savvy comedian Jeff Dye.
On Twitter, Dye revealed NBC has decided not to renew Better Late Than Never. The series wrapped its second season in February with an average rating of .91 in the 18-49 demo and 4.819 million viewers. That’s a nearly 40% drop in ratings from season one.

What do you think? Have you seen Better Late Than Never? Are you sad it’s been cancelled?
Really enjoyed this show. It was funny and educational.
Oh this show was a favorite of mine and it aggravates me it is cancelled. Why do you only go by 18 to 49 year old opinions. People in their 60s spend a lot of money and our opinions should count too. Put the show out on Amazon then!!
I loved the show , sorry it wont be on again , how about trying another network?
NBC is stupid to cancel this show. It is heartwarming, funny, and uplifting.
I love this show and thought they all fit together so well it will be sorely missed by me as I looked forward to a new season of it
What is there not to like, We get to travel the world through the eyes of our friends; and we get to laugh at the silliness. Laughter is good for the soul, in a society where we have limited time to relax a bit. Hopefully Netflix or another network could pick up the 3rd season.
I thought that was a terrific show. I can’t stand all these stupid dance, music and reality shows. Those guys were the real deal. Stop cow tailing to the sunny brats.
NBC its not always about the bucks. loved this show. great humor. great interaction. loved this show. please somebody bring it back. age was definitely a plus. very sad
It was such a great show that my family friends enjoyed. Made you laugh & made you happy, whichever we need in this world if ours today. ALso got to see other parts of the world which he was great!! Plus, seeing our favorite people! PLEASE BRING THEM BACK!!
Loved the show. Never laughed so much in my life. Good to have a show that seniors can connect to. NBC bring it back.
I am so darn upset that they canceled this program. Every week I waited to watch it and always got the best laughs out of watching all these men be silly and do their crazy things. What a shame when something is great that NBC has to cancel. Makes me not want to watch NBC channel anymore.
This show was fun and funny! I think another channel should pick it up. Sad to see it cancelled….
I just finished watching season 1 of BLTN on Hulu. Hulu carried S2 first and I was thrilled to finally get S1 and was hoping there would be a s3. So sorry to learn it’s been cancelled. This was far and above the best “reality” show of all. I will miss seeing these four guys experiencing life so thoroughly in their golden years.
Bring back better late then never best show,on tv wow NBC I can not belive you cancelled it bring it back
,,we loved this show
