The ratings for The Blacklist TV show took another big hit last season, dropping nearly 40% in the same day demo ratings. Now that the drama series will have enough episodes for a good-sized syndication package, will this NBC series be cancelled or renewed for a fifth season? Stay tuned to find out.
The Blacklist revolves around one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives, Raymond “Red” Reddington (James Spader). He offers to help the authorities if rookie agent Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone) is his partner. The FBI then essentially works for him as he identifies a “blacklist” of politicians, mobsters, spies and international terrorists. The other castmembers in this drama include Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lennix, Ryan Eggold, Hisham Tawfiq, Amir Arison, and Mozhan Marno.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — usually the next day, around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
5/19 update: You can see the latest night’s ratings in context.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
For comparisons: The third season of The Blacklist averaged a 1.42 rating in the 18-49 demographic with 6.83 million viewers (live + same day ratings).
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like The Blacklist TV series? Should it be cancelled or renewed for a fifth season?

Yes, It’s a great show, I would love to continue watching James Spader in that great caracter, he’s amazing!

Keep the show going! Great plot twists!
Please leave black list on,it is the best show on tv, it is the only one i watch, besides the news,it is a terrific show, redemption on the other hand is zzz time, thank you
Keep it on. Very good show.
Please don’t cancel. I DVR this every week. Blacklist and blindspot. It’s the only shows me and my fiancee was together religiously. I have watched every episode from season 1. It seems every NBC show I get interested in gets canceled and leaves us wondering what happened. It’s like reading half a book. Prove us wrong and finish something you start.
The show should stay on there is so much left undone, That the seasons need to continues. Let alone Lizzy just getting back into her job. The blacklist is an awesome show it is about time we started getting back these types of shows other than reality shows as every station seems to have so if we’re gonna have some drama make it right not a reality show.
Do not cancel this show! At least give it an ending if it’s cancelled.
