Aaron Paul, John Sonntag and brother Thomas Sonntag have sold Blackmail, a one-hour TV show drama, to NBC. Blackmail hails from Universal Television. The Sonntags will write, and will also executive produce, with Paul.
Here is more from The Hollywood Reporter:
Titled Blackmail, the project centers on a young married couple who suffer a life-changing accident and decide to get back at the man responsible by threatening to reveal his infidelity to his fiancee. But when things turn out to be more sinister than the couple originally thought, a dark game of cat-and-mouse sets them on the path to knowing what it means to be a real-life power couple.
The Breaking Bad alum is pretty busy these days. He stars in The Path TV series at Hulu, and executive produces the animated BoJack Horseman TV show for Netflix, on which he voices Todd Chavez. He’s also in The 9th Life of Louis Drax feature, starring Jamie Dornan, which premieres next month.
