What’s This TV Show About?
A Freeform drama inspired by the professional life of former Cosmopolitan Editor-in-Chief, Joanna Coles, The Bold Type stars Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee, Meghann Fahy, Matt Ward, Sam Page, Melora Hardin, and Nikohl Boosheri. Set at the offices of Scarlet, a women’s magazine, the story follows the newest generation of “Scarlet women” as they make their marks on the industry. It centers on Jane (Stevens), Kat (Dee), and Sutton (Fahy), who support each other even as they learn to assert themselves to the formidable figures at the company. Together they delve issues including sexuality, identity, romance, and style.
Season One Ratings

I hate to think of the idea of THE BOLD TYPE being cancelled since it is the first series I have washed completely in one day I love the type of drama, of confidence, of friendship and honesty. I like the way they dressed and the way they talk. Found this show on accident and absolutely was hooked!! Just watched the entire first season in just two days! I would love to see more seasons! I am 41 and a Mom of three! This is not just for the 20 something crowd! It makes you think, is great at depicting great friendship, and tugs at the heart strings too! It’s funny and romantic as well. LOVE IT!!!!!

I am a mom of a 26 yo writer in NYC and I loved The Bold Type, Season 1. It demonstrated to me that there is still true friendship, trust, kindness and humility in a work world that seems filled with brazen overconfidence and no regard for anyone or anything besides oneself! Please give us a season 2.
Would really hate to see this show canceled!! It is fresh and entertaining with real life situations in it that help open eyes about the reality we live in. One of my absolute favorites and would love to see more!!
I really enjoyed the characters and storylines. These are kickass, loyal friends who made me laugh and tear up with them. I definitely want to watch more of their stories in season 2 but I really love the editor in chief and hope they don’t lose her in season 2. She is just what you want and need in a mentor, power boss!
This is the most amazing show that i have ever watched. I have watched a lot of TV for my nineteen years but this show is by far the best. it teaches a lot and shows how the world works and it inspires me to do amazing things and take risks. this show cant be cancelled but even if it does it still ended pretty darn well as well. This can’t be cancelled ! I’m french and i love it so much it’s different, real ! I have the impression that i always watch the same things but not with this show ,please !

There needs to be a season 2! Nowadays there are only shows about murder or superpowers, I need a show like this in my life!!!!
