Michael Weatherly had a long and successful run on NCIS but left the series last season. He’s back on CBS in his own series called Bull. Will it also be a ratings success? Cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
Inspired by the early career of Doctor Phil McGraw, the Bull TV show revolves around the brash and charming Doctor Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly). He combines psychology, human intuition, and high-tech data to learn what makes jurors, attorneys, witnesses and the accused tick. His team members are played by Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio, and Christopher Jackson.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
3/23 update: Bull has been renewed for season two on CBS. Details here.
5/24 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Bull TV show on CBS? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for second season?
I really enjoy this show. The shows concept for detailing the process of picking the correct jury, as well as the whole preparation process for court appearance was cool. Thanks CBS for bringing another great show!
I love this show. It is interesting and clever. It gets better every week. The show This Is Us is just wierd. I taped both of these programs and deleted This Is Us. Bull is a great show. It keeps you interested the entire program just to see how they achieve the acquittal. Fast paced and original. This week’s program was truly funny and fun.
Way too much of a change for “DiNozzo. Show is boring and please take it off. Does nothing for Michael Weatherly’s talents. I will not watch it again. Once was boring enough.
I agree 100%. I love Michael Weatherly, but this show is awful! I tried to stick with it, but it’s just a horrible story line. Please cancel it so Michael can go back to NCIS!
The family chose ‘This is Us’ over ‘Bull’. Not a difficult decision which is the better show.
Please put “us” out of “their” misery, and “CANCEL” this show!!!!!
Have watched each week but it has not been what I expected. Loved Michael Weatherly in NCIS so it may be that I had higher expectations than I should have. Will watch a while longer to give “Tony” a chance.
Booring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Love it! They absolutely should give Bull a season two!
Just more episodic boredom. The networks have got to improve. HBO, Netflix and cable are so much better than this rubbish.
I agree with a lot of what I am seeing in the other comments. The show has an interesting premise, but ultimately falls flat. I think the biggest downfall is that the show centers around a cast of characters for whom we have no reason to care. We are thrown into their lives with a focus on what they do, not who they are. This makes for a story that gives very little to care about, ultimately resulting in boring viewing. Too bad… I was looking forward to this show.
The second show seemed a repeat of the first, but with a different character. There likely will only be a limited number of times I will want to see a psychological profile of jurors described before I get bored.
Is not really getting my attention, and all the background discussion makes me look away and get back to other new series, sad for my NCIS favorite acter
Reminded me a little of Lie to Me…though Lie to Me was much better. I thought the show was just ok, but just ok doesnt cut it when there is so much other stuff to watch on TV and Netflix/Hulu, so I wont be continuing with this show.
you’re right, I was thinking a similar thing, “where have I seen this before.” I couldn’t remember the name of the old show. thanks
One of the worst TV shows I have ever seen..
Agree 100%
I liked the first half, but not the second half which seemed to have lost its energy and coasted to a finish. As did my reason to watch more, but I’ll give it one more chance.
bah humbug . Will not watch again.
Love Michael Weatherly. Bull needs more developement of the Jason Bull character. I miss his comic relief. Hope that too is further developed.
