Michael Weatherly had a long and successful run on NCIS but left the series last season. He’s back on CBS in his own series called Bull. Will it also be a ratings success? Cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
Inspired by the early career of Doctor Phil McGraw, the Bull TV show revolves around the brash and charming Doctor Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly). He combines psychology, human intuition, and high-tech data to learn what makes jurors, attorneys, witnesses and the accused tick. His team members are played by Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio, and Christopher Jackson.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
3/23 update: Bull has been renewed for season two on CBS. Details here.
5/24 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Bull TV show on CBS? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for second season?
I like the show’s concept but I think chemistry is lacking between all the characters but especially between Bull and Marissa (geneva carr). I have been watching every week and waiting for character development but it just isn’t happening and it needs to. There are definitely enough characters but who are they, how did they get there, why do they stay…. Cable, Benny, Danny and Liberty all have great potential…please. How about finding a recurring role for Frederick Weller?
Basing it on Dr Phil was a big mistake! Personality got lost – I keep trying but visions of Dr Phil are turning me away
Just tried 3rd episode. Should of quit after 2nd. Cancel please. CBS didn’t do well with this choice.
When he left NCIS it took 3 people to try to replace Michael. 3!! Plus they’re ratings have slipped as well but part of that is England started charging people to see it there. Cancel Bull bring back Michael to NCIS and everyone will be happy. Bring back Person of Interest as well.
Person of interest went way overboard and I don’t watch it anymore.
Keep Bull and bring back person of interest
ratings are slipping each week. Trend line is not looking good. another elementary in the making, One so-so year followed by crash to sub 1 ratings in year two and beyond
Let’s hope this dumpster fire doesnt stay on the air as long as that dumpster fire did.
I really like the show but the back ground music is to loud and can’t understand the words and the sing can goout
Wah hoping for something good in the show but after about 3 shows was really let down and now when it comes on find myself looking for something else on anything it is the same show every week it seems like and boring don’t see why it would be on another season really wish he would of never left NCIS but guess seen them big lights as the star of the show but this is not it.
only the first 5 minutes is different from one week to the next, after that EXACTLY THE SAME
Cancel it. I try every Tues. night, end up switching before 1st commercial. Should have stayed with a good thing (NCIS) Michael.
Watched this show because I like Micheal Weatherly buuut this show is soooo boring and so much ridiculous – do they really think so little of the intelligence of their audience???? Save yourself further embarrassment, save fans from further boring shows and please CANCEL this show!!
I like Weatherly, but this show is ridiculous. Where on earth do they get all this super detailed information about a juror? I’ve been in a criminal jury and the don’t get any details other than what they ask during jury selection.
And the idea of a mirror jury? Really? Two people who have similar backgrounds (who’s details you pulled out of thin air?) are going to feel the same way about a specific part of your defense? Really?!??
I know it’s TV and you’re supposed to check your intelligence at the door, but there are simply limits…
Do you know how much you can get from a name and a face? A name that, by the way, both attorneys have access to?
Ray S, you do know that this show is based on a real life person don’t you? Unfortunately, I just found this so I’ll cast my vote here. Keep the show. It is an intelligent, well developed show unlike the mindless dribble of watching reality shows where a baby can be born in 5 minutes and a war fought in 10-15 minutes (remember that one!). It is indeed sad that shows like this are even considered for cancellation. Should CBS do so, I beg some cable station to pick it up. Cable seems a better fit for an intelligent show… Read more »
It seems my last post disappeared so here goes: This show is based on a real person’s work with juries. It is different and intelligent so my vote is to keep it. I heard that it was in the top 5 on TV a couple of day ago and decided to check it out. I watched all 10 episodes since then.
Love this show–Bull is a new kind of show, so different from what I’ve been watching.
I love this show–It’s a new kind of show, keeps me interested.
I love Bull. MIcheap was great in NCIS and is just as great in Bull.
Love this show–Its light and also so different from other “cop like’ dramas on TV.
Very Clever–Please keep the show going
Love Weatherly, but the ensemble development is weak. After NCIS we expect a little more humor from Weatherly. His character is a little bland.
