Michael Weatherly had a long and successful run on NCIS but left the series last season. He’s back on CBS in his own series called Bull. Will it also be a ratings success? Cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
Inspired by the early career of Doctor Phil McGraw, the Bull TV show revolves around the brash and charming Doctor Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly). He combines psychology, human intuition, and high-tech data to learn what makes jurors, attorneys, witnesses and the accused tick. His team members are played by Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio, and Christopher Jackson.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
3/23 update: Bull has been renewed for season two on CBS. Details here.
5/24 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Bull TV show on CBS? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for second season?
Bull is a complicated program presented in a very understandable way by the efforts of the producers involved in the series. I would like to see it continued but wonder how creative the staff can be in coming up with new material. The cast works well together and I look forward to upcoming episodes. I also like that the series does not get involved in the political agendas that are so prevalent on television today. Keep up the good work and good luck!
I actually like “Bull”.
I wouldn’t mind more episodes.
I like to watch Bull dig into the jury and the accused.
I loved the 9th episode. And, it shows just how bad rumors can get. It happens all the time in the real world, especially social media. It seems that most people want to believe the worst of the one targeted except when the false rumor is about them.
Rumors are pathetic anyway. I hate gossip and don’t care for the gossiper either.
I hope ” Bull” continues. It isn’t boring to me.
I think it should be cancelled. It is boring and leaves a lot to be desired.
I really like Micheal Weatherly but this show just doesn’t get it for me…..Not interesting enough…His acting is superb but this topic is poor for a TV show….Don’t like it…..He needs to go back to NCIS . This show should be cancelled.
Renew! IT Keeps getting better.
We are really enjoying Bull. The characters besides Micgael Weatherly’s role as Bull are not defined well, And we really no nothing about them yet…and that needs work. Really like the Bull characterization..the show of 12/13 was a favorite.
I vote cancel. Not engaging, characters are not likable. Brings formulaic to a new high. Sorry, Michael. Not a good vehicle for your talents.
Love Michael but not feeling the show too much. I agree that the character development is lacking and same show every week. I think they should make the defendant of the week Michael’s former NCIS women – Cote de Pablo, Sasha Alexander, the little blonde (whose name escapes me) – or maybe Jessica Alba although that may be uncomfortable. Michael is terrific and ought to continue to look for his niche. Maybe he could find a place on Hallmark as he could play a sort of irreverently fun romantic lead with someone equally entertaining.
Please, no! Not Sasha Alexander
I really like this show. I hope it gets renewed for another season. You know it takes a few seasons for a show to get out all the kinks, learn and get better. Give it a chance
Love Mr Weatherly, but I’m sorry CBS, I vote to cancel the show. It is boring & quite predictable.
This crapfest has a 1.5?
The show is the same every week, meaning there is no big diff from week to week. We stopped watching after 3 weeks, boring
I love Michael Weatherly. The show is very predictable because we KNOW his clients will win. I wish they would do something with Geneva Carr’s hair. She needs a perm or a hairdresser who knows something about thin hair.
Keep it! This is a great show!
I love this show too, but mostly because I like to look at Michael Weatherly. It just surprises me they have one of the handsomest men on tv playing one of the ugliest. I am not a Dr. Phil fan.
I love this show! Of course I’m usually rooting for the underdog. I like the way they use psychology to choose jurors. Would like to see a little backstory on Bull and the rest of his crew. I think this show has much potential. Michael Weatherly was great in NCIS, and I think he’s great in Bull.
