Michael Weatherly had a long and successful run on NCIS but left the series last season. He’s back on CBS in his own series called Bull. Will it also be a ratings success? Cancelled or renewed for season two? Stay tuned.
Inspired by the early career of Doctor Phil McGraw, the Bull TV show revolves around the brash and charming Doctor Jason Bull (Michael Weatherly). He combines psychology, human intuition, and high-tech data to learn what makes jurors, attorneys, witnesses and the accused tick. His team members are played by Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Jaime Lee Kirchner, Annabelle Attanasio, and Christopher Jackson.
The ratings are typically the best indication of a show’s likelihood of staying on the air. The higher the ratings (particularly the 18-49 demo), the better the chances for survival. This chart will be updated as new ratings data becomes available — typically around 11:30am EST/8:30am PST. Refresh to see the latest.
3/23 update: Bull has been renewed for season two on CBS. Details here.
5/24 update: You can see the rest of the latest night’s ratings.
Note: If you’re not seeing the updated chart, please try reloading the page or view it here.
Note: These are the Live + Same Day Ratings which include “live” viewing plus delayed DVR viewing, up until 3am local time that same night. Ratings marked with an “*” are the fast affiliate ratings and will be updated with the Live+SD numbers when they are made available. Typically, networks get paid for C+3 ratings which includes DVR viewing within three days of the original airing when commercials are watched. Those numbers are rarely released to the press.
What do you think? Do you like the Bull TV show on CBS? Do you think it should be cancelled or renewed for second season?
Very poor writing. Unrealistic about the capabilities of jury science. Obnoxious leading character. Cancel!
Nooooooo, please don’t cancel Bull! Finally a show I like!
Saying this cut and paste show is overly simplistic, formulaic and predictable is an understatement. didn;t think CBS could come up a with a blander show than their usually cop fare, but this is it
Amen. The NCIS spinoffs come mighty close to blandness. Even NCIS.
don’t renew it.he was bad in ncis..he is worse in bull…..person of interest is 100%
mike73
@ Mike73…….I REALLY miss Person of Interest. It was THE best show on the air. Cancelled it while it was still a great show. What was that all about !!!
I like the new show Bull unfortunately the last of the Bones series is on at the same time so I watch that but as soon as it ends I will be watching Bull again
Maybe it’s because he’s played a cop for so long but I think I can only like him in a cop role. I’d love to see him somewhere with his own team. Maybe Paris?
Run back to Gibbs as fast as you can
Thought concept would be good but it’s boring. Dinozzo attitude doesn’t work on this show.
Don’t like bull it can be cancelled only saw it once and that was enough
This show is undoubtedly a hit, one of the best shows produced in 2016. It would be a foolish mistake to cancel it and I would be utterly perplexed if it was.
the show is unwatchable, the best thing that could happen is bull gets cancelled and then the 2 new ones on ncis get killed the hispanic and italian and then weatherly can get back on, because NCIS is not good
The best part of each episode is the commercials. The show no longer gets my attention. How do I say “very boring”.
Put this show on Sunday night and see if it does well. Not my favorite new show. Don’t like the character of Bull.
The show’s okay. Loved him on ncis. There’s no one that can replace Dinozo
Love the show…renew pleease
I think Michael is doing the best he can with some of the worst writing on television. His dialogue is obtuse and deliberately confusing; it’s just amateur all the way. Give him a real chance to shine instead of what this show passes for.
I agree. The writing is poor. Simplistic, formulaic and predictable. I like the characters, but none of them are really being developed. I like the concept, but I don’t know where you go with it.
Really look forward to watching this show weekly. Please renew.
