In seasons three and four, Hallmark Channel’s When Calls the Heart TV show rose significantly in the ratings. A western family drama, When Calls the Heart stars Erin Krakow, Daniel Lissing, Lori Loughlin, Jack Wagner, Martin Cummins, Pascale Hutton, and Kavan Smith. Inspired by the Janette Oke novel, the Hallmark TV series centers on Elizabeth Thatcher (Krakow), a young teacher from a high society background. When she is assigned to teach in a coal country classroom, her life completely changes, particularly when she meets Royal North West Mounted Policie Constable Jack Thornton (Lissing).

Note: Though Hallmark promotes season five as premiering on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 9:00pm ET/PT, the two-hour movie that airing in December 2017 has a season five production number, and Hallmark has included it as part of the fifth season on their website. It’s for these reasons that we’re listing the movie’s ratings as part of season five.
For comparisons: The fourth season of When Calls the Heart on Hallmark averaged a 0.28 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 2.406 million viewers.

Please do not even consider cancelling this show. With all the ugly, crime-ridden shows on today, this heart-warming, clean drama is a warm welcome and healthy environment for tv viewers looking for a good show. And Hallmark has outdone itself in presenting this series to viewers. The ratings tell the story…this program cannot be cancelled!
Renewing When Calls the Heart series is a MUST. This is the best TV series on TV. It is everything that our nation should be about, love, romance, compassion, Christian values and moral values. It is a series that you can sit down and watch with your children and teens as well as Mom and Dad. Please keep this series on and keep Daniel Lissing and Erin Krakow together forever. You must renew this show. It is wonderful
This is one of the sweetest shows. It so reminds me of the 60,s and 70,s. It always has a positive massage and shows problem solving skills were people come together to help. I wish we had more programs that would follow that type of story line.
This needs to continue for 6.
I watched all four seasons in less than a week. I will be absolutely destroyed if there isn’t a fifth season. Please, the world needs more television like this series…it reaffirms our faith in humanity.
This is an excellent, heartwarming series. Recently viewed all available episodes. Story line, acting, depiction of small town country living is great. Love Jack and Elizabeth. It’s been a bit frustrating seeing them try to maintain a solid connect. Want to see them marry so badly!!

My husband and I are in our 70’s and we love this show. It is heartwarming, loving, caring people who help each other out. We want to see more of Jack and Elizabeth and their relationship and hopefully a marriage. They are the catalyst for this show and their love for each other shows how life should be. Please develop this show into more seasons and give Jack more time on the show. He is so sweet and kind and helpful and shows his love to Elizabeth. We need more shows like this. Great Show!! One of the best series on TV. It’s wonderful to finally watch a program NOT full of violence and harsh language but instead one that gives you inspiration, hope and love.
Please renew the show. I just love it. It is a very clean family show and there are not many of them left to watch.
